Re: OC3032 & Problems with Firefox & Safari?

OK. I understand what you're saying, but not sure how to fix that. I've added a rewriterule into the HTAccess file to ensure all goes to the HTTPS site.

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://nordikota.co.uk/$1 [R=301,L]

Do I need to do anything more?

Re: OC3032 & Problems with Firefox & Safari?

Sounds like you are both saying it's a Journal issue. There is no error messages appearing. The screen gets stuck at the login page and won't go any further. The last message that appears in the developers section is the one I already posted.

Re: OC3032 & Problems with Firefox & Safari?

Cos I'm not a developer :o
But that's a good suggestion & I didn't think of it.

This comes up when the Login Module appears:
"SecurityError: Permission denied to access property "document" on cross-origin object"

[SOLVED] OC3032 & Problems with Firefox & Safari?

We've just upgraded to OC3032 and Journal3. All seemed to work fine. But we are getting reports from customers that they cannot login when using Firefox or Safari. Google Chrome and IE are ok though. Weird. I checked on our own machines and sure enough, with Firefox you get the login box - enter you...

Re: Site crashes when trying to refresh the Modification cache?

Thanks for the rapid response ;D

I thought it might be an OC issue as the site works fine untill we refresh the cache. Then we have to restore the entire site to get it working again :-(

[SOLVED] Site crashes when trying to refresh the Modification cache?

OC3.0.2.0 running Journal3 If I try to refresh the Modification List or clear the cache, our site immediately crashes with the following errors: Admin Area: Opencart OCMod config.php error detected. Your config.php file creates a conflict with OCMod, probably caused by 1-click Opencart installers. S...

I'm using TSOhost. And I get constant problems with them. 2 months now and we still can't email anyone with a Microsoft email address for example.

Re: Parse Error in Category?

Ah OK. It's related to an extension & not a core file. Thanks - it's pointed me in the right direction ;D

Parse Error in Category?

OC3.0.2.0 + Journal3. No new extensions/mods installed. We've suddenly developed the error below from the Admin page, Catalog -> Categories. Can't get into any categories now. Looks like something is missing from a file, but I don't know which file. Any ideas how to fix this? Parse error: syntax err...

UK Hosting companies?

What hosting companies are people are using for OC and what are your experiences with them?
I'm thinking of moving to A2Hosting, but don't know anyone else who uses them.

Just looking for recommendations to look at I guess ;D

Enabled Browser Cache - now getting refresh issues?

OC3.0.2.0 running Journal3 I've just added Browser caching into the HTACCESS file to speed our site up. It's certainly made a difference to speed, but it has introduced a few issues. If you have a product in the basket and you go to the basket to change the quantity or even delete the product, the b...

Re: [v3.x] - pagination fix

@Straightlight. I've modified the file as above. Checked the htaccess file and there are no re-directs, but I'm still getting this error. It appears on the top of invoices when I view an order to print - which is a bit of a problem. :o Any ideas?

Re: OC: Hosting?

@Uksitebuilder - Hi. Currently just less than 2000 products and 112 categories. It's a small store.

@thekrotek. I never professed to being an OC or MYSql expert. But I can follow instructions. If there are any.

Thanks for that. For someone that knows nothing, I seem to have been doing just fine for the last 30 years.

Re: Extension needed: Category specific product images

Good points. So it seems the simplest way is going to be duplicating products and changing the images :-\

Re: OC: Hosting?

I installed your database cache. It crashed our site - both front-end and back end admin. I manually removed the files through FTP and site still down. the host is currently performing a complete restore from a backup yesterday :-\

Re: OC: Hosting?

Thanks for the reply. I should have said - we are running OC3.0.2.0 with Journal3. So that post doesn't work for us. If Optimised the dbase via PHPMyadmin already. We tried Nitro on OC2.3.0.2 + Journal 2 & it caused so many issues we eventually removed it and had to completely re-installed the site....

OC: Hosting?

We are constantly having problems with site speed (sometimes takes >20 secs to load). Front end or admin can both be affected. This impact sales. Does anyone have a view on good UK hosts that are optimised for OC? I can see there are a few that claim to be recommended for OC but don't want to make t...
