Re: add to cart button not working with IE

Hmmm...you need to contact the theme designer in my opinion as your site is very different from standard Opencart...the div contaning that "Submit" button is not lined up properly either, it sits too far right and overlaps the background (at least in Firefox it does!). In IE11 it stops working at th...

Re: Can i install older version extensions

To add to justcurious' good advice - you can open any vQmod in Notepad++ and see which files it modifies. Download all the 1.5.x versions from the Opencart download page and you can then use winmerge to compare files from the different versions. If a vQmod is for say OC1.5.4.1 you can compare all th...

Re: related products but no module?

Looks like your buyexpress theme changes the Related Products from a tab next to the Description and Reviews into a "module" type box by changing the div-class on the related items to "box-product". To change it you would have to look at your catalog/view/theme/?buyexpress?/template/product/product....

Re: Login to add to cart

Try this maybe, unless you use Joomla:

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... gin%20cart

Supports 1.5.6 and as it is a vqmod it should be easy to modify text etc to suit your needs.

Re: Show Tax and Shipping On Cart Page

Never used 1.5.4 but in 1.5.6 when you are in the Cart you can Estimate Shipping and Taxes (bottom of the page, by apply voucher/coupon) and when you click apply in the pop up it then recalculates the cart and adds that in before you go to the Checkout. Check and see if it is the same, maybe you mis...

Re: finished installation but cant log in

Also check the file and folder permissions to make sure they are correct and that your session folder (wherever that is!) is writable etc.

Re: Product page aligment & footer issues

Just wanted to say that I had a similar issue today on some extra pages I had added, and this post tickled my memory - luckily enough it was the not-closed <div id="content"> tag on the relevant template files and I worked it out thanks to remembering billynoah's advice on this thread. If your foote...

Re: Setting to stop redirecting me after hitting save?

It is a godsend, have been using it since (more or less) day one because the default Save behaviour quickly drives you insane lol - well worth the $

Re: Pop-up image and notification window too small

You also have a visible error in the cart: Notice: Undefined index: quantity_set in /home5/tcsdesig/public_html/zing/dev/storefront/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-catalog_view_theme_zing_template_checkout_cart.tpl on line 69 If I recall correctly, the colorbox settings would be in the java file, see what the dif...

Re: Slider On Category Page

And to be fair, it takes about 5 times longer to write a "for dummies" guide to doing anything than it actually does to just go ahead and do it, so I would say this should definitely be a commercial support request, ultanocallaghan.

Re: How to make customer registration field NOT REQUIRED

No worries, you can edit your thread title to include [SOLVED] now so it is easier for people to find in future if they have the same issue ;)

Re: How to make customer registration field NOT REQUIRED

catalog/view/theme/default/template/account/edit.tpl is the template file, the controller is catalog/controller/account/edit.php.

Think that's your lot :)

It certainly does show the correct sort order for the sub-categories after making that change on 1.5.6, much more helpful now - thanks for the link treasuresjewelry! :)

Re: CSS for default theme - my beef

I think so jbcul - I know the very basic workaround I have implemented for now was having a duplicate Featured Products module and then changing the div style on the .tpl for the "default" one so it fits the sidebar properly. It is bloody annoying, I will grant you that! You might also be able to ge...

Re: CSS for default theme - my beef

Have you looked at this example from billynoah? http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 57#p479200

I think that would allow you to pull it off by changing the div on only the specified route - let us know if it helps ;)

Re: Reformatting Addresses

There are more files you will need to edit than this one but look at the catalog/view/theme/default/template/account pages ;) If you find catalog/view/theme/default/template/account/register.tpl and open it in Notepad++ you will see the code which makes the inputs on the Account Register page. Look ...

Re: Reformatting Addresses

You can change the address format for invoices in the System Settings, System>Localisation>Countries and then Edit your country - that opens the page where you can edit the format. As for changing any other fields on the storefront like customer address input when registering, you would have to just...
