Re: Email and newsletter

At the moment I do a manual csv export in cpanel of all the newsletter subscribers in the database and use mailchimps import feature.

The chances of the dev team expending effort in this area I would think are rather small as it's not really core functionality building a complete and robust m...

Re: Show/hide columns and add id/class on body tag

Have a look at jquery, things like:-

$('.#column_right').hide()

Are quick ways to hide content whilst other methods allow you to resize div etc to get the layout you want.

Re: Anyone have experience with OS Ticket?

I use it, it seems pretty solid. Configuration is a headache and the forums are a little light on for useful info.

Could be a pain in the bum to template as the markup is in the php files.

Re: better templating - module placement

You can always use client side code like JavaScript or jquery to move things around and work on the presentation.

Doing it that way also heads into the progressive enhancement ballpark.

Ok, to get <strong> to work remove this code from the header.tpl file in catalog/view/theme/Vortex/template/common/:- h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6 { font-weight: normal; font-size: 100%; } And from this section remove just strong, address,caption,cite,code,dfn,em,strong,th,var { font-weight: normal; font-style...

Re: [RELEASED] Vortex Opencart Template

I can't replicate the issue with the formatting problem. The customer that has mentioned it is the only person to raise this concern and it doesn't seem to be a problem on the template demo:- demo1.imaginetech.com.au If someone else can confirm they are getting this same error I will investigate fur...

Re: [RELEASED] Starburst Opencart Template

Correct, just moved it from a static html site to wordpress with the wp-e-commerce plugin. Must say that it's been quite an eye opener using wordpress for e-commerce. Definitely pros and cons for opencart and wordpress.
