Or you might be trying to subscribe someone that has had their addre...

Re: Contact mail Google Apps

Make sure that you do not have any MX records on the hosting server that are telling the hosting server that it is the primary mail server rather than the google servers.

If the domains mail is handled by a google apps mail account then there should be no MX dns records on the hosting account.

Re: [RELEASED] Mailchimp Newsletter Signup Module

Ok, the problem was twofold:- 1) The configuration of the store domain prevented the javascript from working, cross domain request error. 2) The servers PHP settings were set to prevent data being able to be sent by the default method, easy fix. If anyone else is having problems please PM me with yo...

Re: [RELEASED] Mailchimp Newsletter Signup Module

You need to unzip the file and then copy the contents of the upload directory into the base directory of your OpenCart install. The base directory is the directory with admin/ catalog/ system/ etc etc. The fact that it is not showing up as an installable module points to it not being installed corre...

jQuery 1.3.2

Just a quick question, is there any reason why we can't update the jQuery version that is shipping by default with OpenCart.

1.4.9.3 is still using 1.3.2.

Any code that might break by moving up to a stable 1.4 release?

Digital Sushi wrote:So when are we going to see a new version?

I think that having a customer's name and surname as mandatory fields should be an option on the admin side of things.
In short, when I have time to do it.

Re: [RELEASED] Mailchimp Newsletter Signup Module

Not in the current module. I have thought about this a bit and at the moment have built the module to require the least possible input from non-customers (front end module only requires email). My thinking is that visitors are inclined not to sign up for email lists to start with and would be less i...
