I moved the files to /store and I am getting this error: Warning: require_once(/home/fhlinux132/g/mysite.co.uk/user/htdocs/system/startup.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fhlinux132/g/mysite.co.uk/user/htdocs/store/index...

Re: Is there a place for part number (sku)?

Well if I understand correctly, you need a sku to go with each of the "options" applied to go with each product. But obviously do not want to create lots of products for these values. I only have a limited knowledge of OpenCart (using it for roughly a week), and I cannot see a way of doing it with t...

Re: Slight modification of product detals, authority of database

You should need to modify anything if you just create a new 'user group' from the admin menu. Just allow them only to add new products.

Create new users and assign them to this group.

Re: Is there a place for part number (sku)?

Gary, usually the part number is usually stored in the 'model' field. It is recommended you use this for the sku as all sku's are unique, a requirement of the 'model' field.

Re: keep loosing SEO values

They just disappear. it's weird as hell. I set a load of SEO through the Admin and they will work for a number of days. I had about 200 set. Now, when you navigate to a page that had one, I get the original URL, not the SEO one. Looking in theurl_alias table, it's actually empty!?! I have just chec...

Re: Do All Customers Have To Create An Account?

Fellas calm the **** down the poor guy is coding it right now! Stop complaining because he's doing all your hard work for you!

Daniel, I think the best way to go with this is if it is all on one page, being as less information is being put in there should be more room for it.

Re: Does SEO URLs work in v1.3?

Whoops I missed have a 'C' out! I checked myself on my domain and if I deleted my htaccess file it would have the same error as yours, urls would appear ok but I would get 404 errors when I clicked them. So the urls aren't being generated by htaccess, htaccess just make the whole thing work! I think...

Moving my store

So my client turns around to me today and casually tells me they no longer want to be brought directly to the store home page. Instead they want a introduction page. Does anyone have any ideas to implement this? I was thinking there is 2 options: * Rename index.html to something like index2 or store...

Re: Does SEO URLs work in v1.3?

Glad to help, had problems with it myself ;) Is it in the same place as your index.html file? For example if your domain has it's own store folder try putting it in the /store/ folder. Else it should be in the root which means in theory you can load it from http://www.mydomain.com/.htaccess (althoug...
