Re: OpenCart v1.3.2

You have to go to the original post on page 1 of this thread. What you are seeing are quotes of that original post and the OP has the attachment that contains the db_changes.sql file.

Re: [Suggestion] Common Error Database Table

I guess this is covered in the new logs feature of 1.3.2. Database error logs are usually a very bad idea. An application that has one error per page load added to 30 shoppers browsing the site every day would lead to a 200 MB database log table in no time. Ive seen it happen in other sites and its ...

Re: Problem with restoring database on OpenCart 1.3

I would be more interested in the sql command right before:

Code: Select all

TRUNCATE TABLE `category`;

Re: Opencart v1.3 installation problem in cpanel

Tell your host to upgrade to php 5.1.0. Good luck with that :). If your lucky some hosts have a way for you to use a newer version of php by setting something in a php.ini file or something like that.

Re: Simple Cart

Yes you can. Turn off all the shipping modules except free shipping. Then turn off all the payment modules except check/money order. I believe you can not charge tax as well. You can also choose to not have the cart use the stock abilities. This is all just a matter of setting up the cart correctly....

OpenCart Ideas

Ok so Ive digged a little deeper into OC and I like it. I have some suggestions. 1. Language File problems: How about showing the full path you are trying to find a language file when it fails. exit('Error: Could not load language ' . $file . '!'); Instead of: exit('Error: Could not load language ' ...

Re: can't open my store

Either you set the language to a language that does not exist in your store your the language database table does not have the row installed for great Britain English. I would guess you are trying to use a Malay set of language files. You may want to make sure that you have the correct settings for...

Re: developer docs? (and OC x CrC)

Ok so long story short is that you didn't want to lose all the hard work and man hours on the improvements to the former cart and the new cart was so different that porting was not a viable option. I can understand that. I'll have to take a look at chromium too.

Re: OpenCart v1.3.2

Ok here are my steps for a smooth upgrade from 1.3.0 to 1.3.2 with an attached sql file to run.... (Im not sure if this will work from 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 you will have to do a diff on the three schemas) 1.3.0 > 1.3.2 To Upgrade: 1. First off backup your site. 2. Goto your opencart's store admin and down...

Re: OpenCart v1.3.2

I am having problems with pagination on 1.3.0. Both with or without SEO urls it's not working past page 2. With SEO on this is the url for every page: /prints?page=%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20 With it off the link looks ok but after page 2 doesn't show the...

Re: developer docs? (and OC x CrC)

I just started using opencart and have been building e-commerce sites for about 5 years now. For my higher end customers I use a commercial cart that I believe is hands down the best cart on the market and that includes the free ones. The code is excellent and the price is not out of this world but ...

Fedex, USPS, UPS

I noticed in the source code the UPS, USPS and Fedex shipping modules but they have underscores at the end of the file name and are not active. Are these works in progress....what is their status? I was just about to write my own and noticed them in the source. I didnt want to recreate the wheel if ...

Re: CodeIgnitor and Kohana

Cool, yes it is very clean and simple which is what I love about CI. I also love small footprints and loose coupling. I'm actually thinking of creating a payment library for CI and was looking at the carts out there to see if I can create a wrapper for them. This way I can simultaneously create paym...

CodeIgnitor and Kohana

I am looking at the code for this cart and I have to say it is excellent and looks very much like my favorite framework CodeIgnitor. Was this cart built with Kohana or CI or was your framework inspired by those projects? Excellent job!
