Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

And replace it with this. Put everything else back like it was. private static function _realpath($file) { $path = realpath($file); if(!$path) { return false; } if(is_dir($path)) { $path = rtrim($path, self::$directorySeparator) . self::$directorySeparator; } $path=preg_replace('/^[a-zA-Z]:/','',$pa...

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

Your quick/dirty fix corrects the filename enough that it can be written to the cache. However it includes the full path so vQmod won't recognise the cache files representing when checking if they already exist. ie. cache filename is vq2-C_net_hosts_domain_htdocs_catalog_view_theme_default_template_...

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

Tested but no success. I think $cacheFile is being set to the wrong value. C:\Net\hosts\domain\htdocs\vqmod\vqcache\vq2-C:_Net_hosts_htdocs_domain_system_startup.php should be vq2-system_startup.php On the original Windows server the correct value was returned by return self::$_cachePathFull . 'vq2-...

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

Getting there now... On line #121 $cacheFile = self::_cacheName($stripped_filename); $cacheFile is set to: C:\Net\hosts\domain\htdocs\vqmod\vqcache \ vq2-C :_Net_hosts_htdocs_domain_system_startup.php This explains the file name of the cache file that is written: vq2-C The _cachename function is pri...

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

Code: Select all

file_put_contents("test.txt","Text");
Generates test.txt when executed in /vqmod/vqcache

So the function is available and file permissions correct.

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

Not that I can see.

I put php.ini back to default settings and there is no change to the caching issue.

Not sure how much of a clue the name of the empty file that is written is: vq2-C

Hoped it might indicate more specifically where vqmod.php is failing.

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

I suggest turning on php error reporting to see where it fails. error_reporting is already on with errors logged to file. No entries are created. index.php right below <?php ini_set('display_errors', 1); ini_set('display_startup_errors', 1); error_reporting(E_ALL); Doing this does not display any e...

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

That is neither helpful nor well informed.

Did you even read past the first line of the environment details?

Or did you see Windows and think it would be a good idea to try and shut down this thread simply because my setup is not to your personal preference?

[Solved] vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory on IIS

Can anyone suggest why vQmod fails to write cache files and instead writes an empty file named vq2-C to /vqmod/vqcache? Environment Windows Server 2012 Plesk Panel 12.5 PHP 5.3.2.9 MySQL 5.6.26 OpenCart 2.1.0.1 vQmod 2.6.1 Issue vQmod fails to save modifications to /vqmod/vqcache/vq2-*.php On each p...

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

Pleased to see this is moving towards a permanent fix with modules for both Worldpay gateways. One thing I learned that may be useful for others using Worldpay Online is their Webhook test facility fails if you have a self signed SSL certificate. Obviously self signed is no use in production, I was ...

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

Vote cast.

I'm unsure what the official channel for this kind of request is. Not sure that it's technically an issue that can be raised on Github: https://github.com/opencart/opencart/issues

Any luck someone on the core team will notice this and be able to put this forward for consideration.

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

My vote goes to reinstate the Worldpay Business Gateway module that was in earlier versions of OC 2.

There are several implementations of Paypal so I don't see why the same can't be true for Worldpay. Especially when the code is already written and tested.

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

Sellxed offer a Worldpay Business Gateway module: http://www.sellxed.com/shop/en/opencart-worldpay-zahlungs-modul.html?___SID=U My client ended up applying for a new Worldpay Online account which they advertise can be active in 24hrs. In this case it took several weeks of additional checks even thou...

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

We'll see what my client reckons. Damn sure I'd be pissed if a developer hit me with a curve ball like this half way through a project. Maybe the fees will be favorable enough on the new account to soften the blow. And presumably Worldpay will retire the Business Gateway product at some point so the...

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

The only option to use Worldpay Business Gateway with OC 2.0.2.0 seems to be a product from Sellxed . I don't particularly want to rely on a third party for something as important as the payment processing. Plus I'm going to look like a **** when I have to call my client and explain the situation. A...

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

OpenCart support responded to a direct query: You can try to contact to our partners to see if they can make an update on the WorldPay module for you This is disappointing. The Changelog does not note that the Worldpay Business Gateway payment module has been removed. To move from a Worldpay Busines...

Re: HELP: Worldpay gateway configuration problem

@ Paul C Did you find a way to run OpenCart 2.0.2.0 with Worldpay? I presume your client has an older Worldpay Business Gateway account as you say they work with Merchant ID/Payment Response Password? It seems Worldpay have developed a new gateway called Worldpay Online which works on Service Key/Cl...

Re: Tax applied at checkout but user in non-tax Geo Zone

My apologies for the slow response, thread reply notifications are currently going to an old email address. I think I figured this out. As suggested I created - two geo zones for shipping - two geo zones for tax/VAT That didn't resolve the issue, however in the Total-Based Shipping module by Clear T...

I am experiencing an issue with a store running OpenCart Version 1.5.4. The store owner is in the UK, is VAT registered and sells only to private customers not other businesses. The following test was carried out in a browser never used to visit the site previously, cookies/history were cleared anyw...
