[SOLVED] - New Products Missing from Category

I'm not running a basic install of OC, so I know this might not be an easy answer from this forum. I just figured I'd ask, maybe someone had a tip? I'm adding new products via an API call, and although the product is added to the site, it doesn't appear in the category it was assigned. For example, ...

Re: Missing Orders

I'm using 3.0.3.2 which is the latest release (and currently not enough hours in the day to keep up with minor GitHub updates) I use an event trigger to send orders to our other systems, but sometimes things happen, so I need to double check they made it. I was going to use an API to cross check wit...

Re: Missing Orders

Yeah, changing the order status is the easy part. The hard part is making sure all the orders are accounted for -- I think it's going to be best if I write something to work with the Authorize.net API's that then cross checks with our order management system. That way I'll know all the orders are in...

Re: Missing Orders

Nothing in the error logs. I ended up changing the status in the db and that worked. I'll look at the dev tools next time it happens.

Re: OpenCart Feasibility

Well, better don't take it personal Naw, I don't take it personal, just pointing out that those tests don't reflect user experience. If the user isn't happy, they aren't going to buy anything. ...and although I was born in the US, I actually live on a little island with about 100 people in another ...

Re: Missing Orders

Oh boy, and trying to change this order's status all I get is a pop-up that says "Error"

Re: Missing Orders

I had this happen to me yesterday. Got an order email from OC Got a payment notification from Authorize.net ...but the order is showing up as missing, and usually the Authorize.net CC info is the first note on the order, but there is nothing. I have had successful orders after this order too. Honest...

Re: OpenCart Feasibility

Run some tests on Amazon.com and let me know how your opinion of your scores might change. From where I sit, user experience far outweighs code these days. The game is not what it was, adapt or die.

Re: "Announcements" in the forum

Gotta admit how humored I am that those announcement posts for Journal do the exact opposite of what they were originally intended. So you know, I also had a discussion with my friends at Yahoo about OC and Journal today, the PHP code is GPL, and the payment is only for the pre-done designs....

Re: Finally went live!

Thanks, been quite busy with the API's the last few days. Nice to see it tie into the other systems like I had hoped. The future looks bright!

What's the cftoken Value? :D
It must be 15 Years, since I was playing around with Perl ?
The CloudFlare token for their API

Blocking VPN's / Proxies that are up to no good - IPVanish, etc.

Had a problem with Proxies/VPN's from someone/something hitting my site acting as regular users. Came up with a simple script to block them using Perl to do a whois lookup and then an API call to CloudFlare to block the IP. Just sharing in case someone else sees this too. You can play around with th...

"Announcements" in the forum

Why are the "Announcements" of the forum posted as a group of posts above all forum sections? It's a clump of posts that sadly deter people from participating here. Most forums are dead these days, replaced by social media, but even this old guy can see this as not cool -- my 2 cents.

Re: Please update preview in the Marketplace

Been almost a month since I last posted. Since then I've gone live with OC and do really like the application. Sadly I've now purchased extensions that are no longer in the OC marketplace but had been previously. Just posting this here in the hopes that someone on the core teams sees the need to add...

Re: Finally went live!

Thanks for the feedback. I've been quite busy lately getting the site tied into the other systems we have, so I haven't had time to go back and adjust things yet. I have a list of design changes I'd like to make, but only have 2 hands and so many hours in a day ;D I'll get there, but for now I'm stu...

Re: opencart-api.com ?

For $100 it's well worth it, I'd pay a lot more . I guess the difference is I don't make money by selling code like you guys do -- I'm just a store owner who can code . Since you have the ability to code but don't want to do it by yourself, that's totally fine. You can create a service request in t...
