Re: Duplicate Order checkout error when re-entering declined card info

Yeah, I can write the code to do it. Just checking if someone else already has, no need to re-invent the wheel.

Re: Duplicate Order checkout error when re-entering declined card info

We get a few of these a month. Then, better not to disclosed that publicly for the saigh of your store. I am not the one to argue about the ones who are successfully making sales in a secured way but this one clearly shows that you are receiving cumulative orders ending up in the missing orders as ...

Re: Duplicate Order checkout error when re-entering declined card info

Not sure where you're going, these aren't fraud orders. I took another one myself this morning. The customer said he put in the CVV incorrectly and it got declined. I copied all his info over, checked him out, all the card info matched, shipping to the same address on the card. Most of my customers ...

Re: Duplicate Order checkout error when re-entering declined card info

Sorry, let me explain this better. What happens is the customer calls us at our 800 number. They are getting the duplicate order error when trying to check out and are confused if there is already an order or not. They explain the card got declined because they had a typo or had some fraud preventio...

Duplicate Order checkout error when re-entering declined card info

I've had a few customers get an error at the checkout for "duplicate order" which seems to happen when their card is declined and they try and re-enter the card info. The order shows up in the "missing order" list in the admin area. The order hasn't been charged. -- Is there an easy way for me to pu...

Re: Estimated Delivery Extension Request

Shame the extension developer can't modify it or keep it up to date to work with Journal 3. I'm sure they could, simple changes. I just wanted something slightly different than the out of the box version. I'm use to that though since majority of what I do is drop shipped. I set up each manufacturer...

Re: How to speed up OpenCart 3

Sure, dynamic content can't be cached - but - crawlers and first time visit page loads aren't usually dynamic driven pages yet. You might want to give it a try, it's interesting. Currently doing load tests on the dev server as I type this.

Re: How to speed up OpenCart 3

So a few months and many orders into OC now, working well too! Thank you! I recently installed redis although it really didn't do much for speed. I'm guessing that MariaDB was already working well, so redis didn't have much to do. I am currently trying out Varnish. First I installed the open source ...

Re: [Rant] The OC Marketplace is Full of Garbage

There is a rating / feedback thing in the marketplace, but it's cumbersome. Oddly it seems the marketplace isn't actually an opencart store itself?

Re: [Rant] The OC Marketplace is Full of Garbage

Yeah, the one extension I was refunded for I was the first person to purchase according to the marketplace so there was no feedback on it. And I'm fully aware of what Journal is and does. Let me know of another similar solution, and I'll gladly consider it. Do you run an active store selling product...

Re: [Rant] The OC Marketplace is Full of Garbage

For the others: fact is, that in the Marketplace is a lot of "Garbage". But you can always contact the OpenCart Marketplace Support https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=support/support and tell them the "troubles" all of you have and had. You can there also make a request for a cashback. And if...

Re: Amazon-style Expected Delivery Date

I made some slight modifications to the extension, and it's doing exactly as I want now. Thank you.

Re: [SOLVED] - Order Doesn't Get Authorize.net Response - weird email issue?

Well now it's been over 2 months since I changed this code. I have not had one "missing" order since this change, and I have had quite a lot of orders over the last couple months. I'd suggest this change to be made for everyone using SMTP.

Re: Estimated Delivery Extension Request

I have it working now. Some slight modifications to this extension - https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=34584 And some slight modifications to the Journal3 seo.php file both get the estimated delivery to show on the page and adds the lead time to the sch...

Is there a demo of this somewhere I can see? Not sure why the opencart marketplace has images that are so small you can't read them.

Re: Estimated Delivery Extension Request

Did anything ever come from this? The estimated delivery date is required for a lot of what Google wants in feeds too. I also need it set per-item as they vary with the 7,000+ items I have.

Re: The customer cannot do more than one order today

I re-tested everything. I installed OpenCard and tested more than one order. And it worked After that I installed Journal Theme and tried it again . I did more than one request but more than one IP. When I try from the same IP, I cannot . It turns out that Journal Theme does not allow more than one...
