Re: OpenCart Project Hosting moved to Github

I think the pull request feature is worth the effort of switching to GitHub.

Now that 1.5.4 is released are there any plans to have two branches. One with just bug fixes and one with the fixes and new features?

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

Looks like you have a invalid character in your data somewhere. Have you pasted any text in OpenCart?

Re: Adding shopping cart image to the website.

I wouldn't use the image manager to upload this sort of image to OpenCart. You could use the image manager if you wanted to and would find the images in \image\data from your OpenCart installation directory. But I would copy the images to your web server to catalog\view\theme\default\image from your...

Re: Email to "All Customers" not sending v1.5.3.1

Same problem. I only get 5 or 6 customers mailed, and that's it. I changed the code as you have written, no solution so far. Kind regards That sounds like a different problem, as people have posted, without SSL email sending worked anyway. Could it be something to do with your hosting preventing bu...

Re: Email to "All Customers" not sending v1.5.3.1

I think in admin\controller\sale\contact.php changing $json['next'] = str_replace('&', '&', $this->url->link('sale/contact/send', 'token=' . $this->session->data['token'] . '&page=' . ($page + 1))); to $json['next'] = str_replace('&', '&', $this->url->link('sale/contact/send', 'token=' . $this->sess...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

After configuring TAX at 20%. Create an order by adding a product twice in the front end. Complete Checkout. Now use the order editor in the admin to create a similar order. i.e. quantity 2 of a product, save. The order totals are correct, but the total for each line is different. As shown in this ...

Re: content bottom not full width

You might be able to do it by changing the floats and margins of the layout section in catalog\view\theme\default\stylesheet\stylesheet.css and adding a containing div in catalog\view\theme\default\template\common\content_bottom.tpl. Otherwise you will need to rearrange the following statements that...

Re: Adding shopping cart image to the website.

Template images should be put (via FTP) in catalog\view\theme\default\image where default is the name of the theme.

Re: include html in banner title?

I would try to keep you banners under 300k as bigger images will take a long time to load.

If you do need lager files you will have to edit admin\controller\common\filemanager.php and change this line.

Code: Select all

				if ($this->request->files['image']['size'] > 300000) {

Re: include html in banner title?

This fix may help with that. You may need to clear the image cache after doing the changes.

Re: include html in banner title?

Re: First Image / Image Thumbnail

I think you would be best spiting it into 3 different products, putting your preferred image first for the product in each category. You might be able to make changes to catalog\controller\product\product.php (look at the breadcrumbs code). But if the product is reached via a search there will be no...

Re: Updated Files On Website Server Vs Local Host

WinSCP has a good synchronise mode when used with SFTP makes this sort of thing easy. You can even link a file comparison program to it to see the changes before overwriting a file.
