After configuring TAX at 20%. Create an order by adding a product twice in the front end. Complete Checkout. Now use the order editor in the admin to create a similar order. i.e. quantity 2 of a product, save. The order totals are correct, but the total for each line is different. As shown in this ...

Re: content bottom not full width

You might be able to do it by changing the floats and margins of the layout section in catalog\view\theme\default\stylesheet\stylesheet.css and adding a containing div in catalog\view\theme\default\template\common\content_bottom.tpl. Otherwise you will need to rearrange the following statements that...

Re: Adding shopping cart image to the website.

Template images should be put (via FTP) in catalog\view\theme\default\image where default is the name of the theme.

Re: include html in banner title?

I would try to keep you banners under 300k as bigger images will take a long time to load.

If you do need lager files you will have to edit admin\controller\common\filemanager.php and change this line.

Code: Select all

				if ($this->request->files['image']['size'] > 300000) {

Re: include html in banner title?

This fix may help with that. You may need to clear the image cache after doing the changes.

Re: First Image / Image Thumbnail

I think you would be best spiting it into 3 different products, putting your preferred image first for the product in each category. You might be able to make changes to catalog\controller\product\product.php (look at the breadcrumbs code). But if the product is reached via a search there will be no...

Re: Updated Files On Website Server Vs Local Host

WinSCP has a good synchronise mode when used with SFTP makes this sort of thing easy. You can even link a file comparison program to it to see the changes before overwriting a file.

Re: OpenCart 1.5.2 IE7 cannot open some product pages

Now have a workaround for this IE7 bug. Added the following to catalog\view\theme\default\template\common\header.tpl just before </head>. <!--[if lt IE 8]> <script type="text/javascript">var co = this.co = $.fn.colorbox; var cv; $.fn.colorbox = function(v) { cv = v; return; }; $(document).ready(func...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

The breadcrumbs on the 404 not found error page uses the content and not the title for the breadcrumb link text. This causes problems if you make the not found text longer or add links to it. In catalog\controller\error\not_found.php replace line 18: 'text' => $this->language->get('text_error'), wit...

Don't use domain forwarding. Set the DNS records for your new domain to point to your web hosting.

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

I also have a problem with VAT number being shown as not valid. Do PayPal's payment pages support IE6 and IE7?

I am using the PayPal standard payment module to take payments. And I have been contacted by a few people who have tried to purchase using PayPal, but haven't been able to because they couldn't enter there credit card details. They seem to be using old versions of Internet explorer (UK government or...
