Re: Extension locations moved in OpenCart 2.3

also after the next release we are moving to twig as the template language. this is so the theme editor i wrote can be used without anyone being able to use php to hack the site. it also has many other benefits.

Re: Should Opencart 2.1.0.2 send out confirmation e-mails?

Alright, I managed to fix it. Mail Protocol, just does not work, for whatever reason. But mine is working with SMTP Protocol. I am using godaddy smtpout.secureserver.net. Here is my setting: Mail Protocol: SMTP Mail Parameters: -fservice@frishops.ca SMTP Hostname: smtpout.secureserver.net SMTP User...

Re: Extension locations moved in OpenCart 2.3

The reason I moved the extensions is getting opencart ready for the cloud. After the events system and oc mod were added there should be no reason extensions can not be contained under one folder. This makes opencart easier to maintain. i'm going to write a guide on how to build extensions use the c...

Re: Important all Skrill Users (UPDATED)

I had to pull a few strings to get the money back but still short quite a lot. I spoke to the Head of Global Account Management and she agreed I will get paid back but still after 1 month no money. So now Skrill is getting pulled out of the core of opencart and being removed from the site. they are ...

Re: OpenCart v2.2.0.0 Testing - What you need to know

BETA??? from what I understand this is the ALPHA version, it NEVER went to BETA, just straight to release without conferring with those who actually uses it, and make fixes for it. Jan 22, 2016 it was alpha, March 2 Released... Still the same mistakes in code as previous version even though the for...

Re: 2016 - Why are there so many Terrible themes?!

[background=][/background] I had suggested a while back to modify order notification emails to have the reply-to set to the customer's email, this way we could setup an auto-responder. Basically I wanted to setup an auto-reply to explain to customer how to get in touch with me should they have any q...

Re: 2016 - Why are there so many Terrible themes?!

I would argue that you would have an easier time than most finding capable staff; you has a roster of developers you could pull from that are already extraordinarily well-versed in the system. A lot of us have a long, trusted history with OpenCart. The fact that we are able to develop extensions th...
