Re: Set Up Charge Mod

I've been reading this topic a couple of times now and I wonder how can a module be distributed without theorizing categories amongst the subject. Let's take an example. For instance, I'm a customer who buys a radio for my car but on the same day, same store, I decide to buy other categories that ha...

Re: CASS Address Verification - verify shipping b4 order cre

While this approach may have its advantage for registered users, OC also allows guest checkout which Zen-Cart doesn't by default which means OC can't handle address book for guests while this module specifically targets the addresses table from database. In order to make a full combination, it would...

Re: Birth date - registration form

Some corrections were made from my XML above. Those who downloaded before will need to re-download it.

Re: clear reports

From the core means everything you installed from scratch including database excluding the extensions that can be used amongst OC. As for the reports, you have plenty of options here: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=123&t=41270

Re: Ability to Override Core Code

The most commonly known functionality for this and apparently preferred is VQMod.

Re: Birth date - registration form

Here's a VQMod version of this.

From PHPMyAdmin, in the SQL tab under your OpenCart database, use the following query:

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE oc_customer ADD dob VARCHAR(16) NOT NULL;
Note: Change: oc_ to the appropriate prefix name if invalid.

Re: How easy is it to do this?

Most shipping API provided by manufacturers can already and automatically provide the desired quote based on each selected products or as a total from the cart page. If specific modules isn't integrated, it can always be built rather than manually ask customers to ask for a shipping quote to merchan...

Re: How to create a CSV with the order details?

This contribution might give you some good insights: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... order=DESC

The bulk orders contribution is also a great tool for merchants.

Re: clear reports

From the core, it is not yet possible but there seem to be countless contributions as possibilities from the extensions you could use.

Re: how to set product option's "Subtract Stock" always "No"

Since CSV Import Pro is a contribution, you should rather ask the author for any future importation you'd like to make on how to set the subtract option to yes instead of no by default straight from the module. ;)

Re: clear reports

Since the reports are being filtered by constant time period, it cannot be distinguished specifically when during those times a report would need to be cleared out. The best option would be to set a cron job so to clear those orders based on your preferred time. Alternatively, orders should never be...

Re: 100% Custom URL's

Better to have a VQMod version of this so to not overwrite core files.

Re: how to set product option's "Subtract Stock" always "No"

Just revert this process: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=25454#p178149 and it should always display as yes instead of no. However, if you did already applied the step above and you did already save the data from the form by setting one or multiple options to no and you're looking for...

Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined method ModelSaleOrder

I have now updated my XML file which now includes this modification so that no one else uses a core modification when following this post: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=161&t=42888&p=237517#p234653 . All users who followed this instruction should rather remove this from the core file so ...

Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined method ModelSaleOrder

This fix is if you use VQMod on your OpenCart copy. If so, upload this XML file in your ./vqmod/xml folder as it should load automatically once you logged in into the admin - > sales - > orders page. :) /download/file.php?id=8977 This URL link is simply the way phpBB from this forum generates the do...

Re: customer import from ClickCartPro v6

If you need a different encryption, modifify function login in file system/library/customer accordingly. I wouldn't recommend this solution to modify a library core file straight ahead but rather to build a VQMod file so to let other coders use their own algorithm regarding password encryption whic...
