Is there an advantage to the ones in v1.5.4.1? (I am using 1.5.1.3.)

Re: Sometimes customers credit card gets charged twice? (AIM

So if I just authorize and do not capture yet, how do I tell it to capture? And when is this done?

If it is done on the auth.net side, is there a way to do the whole day at once? Or do you do them all one at a time?

Thanks!

Sometimes customers credit card gets charged twice? (AIM)

Is there any way to prevent a customer from getting charged twice in authorize.net? I think they must be getting impatient and hitting refresh or something, but I am not sure.

Only one order is getting inserted, but the customers credit card is being hit twice. I am using the AIM method.

Thanks!

Does 2 admin users cause problems?

Would it cause problems if there were 2 admin users editing orders at the same time? If so, is there a way to create a different admin user?

Thanks!

Possible to pass invoice # instead of order # to auth.net?

My client wants to pass the invoice number instead of the order id to auth.net for bookkeeping purposes. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Require email address twice when create account

I there an extension that would require the customer to enter their email address twice when they create an account? I am having people enter bad email addresses.

If not, would this be a hard change to make?

Thanks!

Re: Help with taxes

How would you set the geozones in a way that you can charge a customer tax if they are one of several U.S states? You can only have one tax zone per product, and one tax rate per tax zone, so all states would need to have the same rate?

Re: Help with taxes

Think I am going to try and program the ability to have a presence in more than 1 state. I think that is a common need.

Re: Help with taxes

The highest average? Can you legally charge someone more sales tax than their state really has?

Help with taxes

If a store has a location in Texas and in Arkansas, and must charge sales tax in both states, and a product has to have a tax class assigned to it, which in my case is called "Texas" since a class can only have 1 rate, how would I charge the customer Arkansas State sales tax if they are from Arkansa...

Is Dimensions (L x W x H) in the UPS settings required?

Is putting something in the Dimensions (L x W x H) in the UPS settings required?

If I put something in there, what does it do? Is it like a default value if the product has no dim data, or is it an over ride for all products?

Thanks!

Re: Are two UPS modules necessary to do this?

Thats what I am doing now I think, I listed my current setup in the original post, but doesn't that require the use of a second free shipping module because one is used for in state taxes, and one is not?

Re: Are two UPS modules necessary to do this?

Ah, that takes care of my UPS issue.

Now, about my current setup.. I cant nessessarily get rid of my $0 flat rate shipping and just keep my free shipping one, because if I show it to all geozones, than people in HI and AK would get free shipping... Is that right?

Re: Are two UPS modules necessary to do this?

So are you saying I just need 1 ups shipping module that is configured with a geo zone of "my state with tax"?
