Only a 0 byte index.html file and that won't be the problem.

This tells us the error comes from a vQmod or OCMOD so try uninstalling them one-by-one until the error goes.

I ended up finding a youtube video that pointed out one of the files vcmod tries to update has changed. By modifying the vcmod section that handles the twig files I was able to add an xml instruction to update the twig on-the-fly with vcmod without changing the core code. I think you mean vQmod not...
