Re: How do you add contact form to newly added product tab?

Good point about the spam have corrected it.If someone put down concisely the method in applying it to the back end so as to add content i believe others would attempt this mod.
Cheers :-\

However a simple email form would suffice which i have managed to do in a ad hoc fashion in the language files; catalog/lang/eng/prod/prod php From $_['tab_contact'] = 'Contact Us'; To $_['tab_contact'] = '<a href="mailto:subject">Contact Us</...

The reason for the change is i feel people cannot see clearly 'Contact Us' which blends into the background (you tend to have to lead them by the nose). I have decided to add another product tab next to related products with ...

Re: Adding text to price field

Hi sxguy I suppose its horses for courses, i sell original art and some are client based so i have to check with the client to see if it is still available, or they are paintings where their value is altering daily. Adding text to price field

Hi With opencart most problems i have found can be solved if you think logically (i have often thought Qphoria is part vulcan) ;D . Have you ever wanted to put text instead of the price of the product, eg 'Call', 'Offers', 'Sold' etc... Example of my site http://www.gallerysales.co.uk/Rozanne_Bell_a...

Re: The page you requested cannot be found!

Hi Gents Well the chap who sold me the template has taken pity on me and corrected the fault in the core files even though it was not the template at fault. The problem lay in controller files i believe it was a few minor alterations the last being "telephone" added in the contact fields which tippe...

Re: The page you requested cannot be found!

Hi Simon
Mate is away for a few days, typical.
In admin it only gives the option of default, at the foot of admin it is version 1.4.9.1. I do though have my error logs at the time of the fault.

Re: The page you requested cannot be found!

Hi Just thought i would update you so far. I will get help hopefully to install a default OC soon but have since contacted hostgator, this is what was said: Hi, If it's the .htaccess causing the problems, yes, this would likely help. However, correct me if I am wrong, this issue was occurring before...

Re: The page you requested cannot be found!

Thanks for that asphole but still no joy.
I will try simons suggestion about loading a separate installation of OC on my server to see if it behaves the same with a default store but i will ask a friend for help with this. In the meantime if anyone has any more suggestions please feel free.
cheers
