Re: Main menu help

I am new to OpenCart and I am trying to put my main menu simply in the header of the page with my desired categories running along which drop down. There is not an options to do this in admin, but you can do it by editing catalog/view/theme/yourtheme/template/common/header.tpl file : Look for this ...

Re: I cant change the theme

Can you explain a bit more about what you are exactly trying to do?

I have not heard of uploading a theme in this way?

Have you read this?

Re: [1.5.0]Set grid view as default

I got rid of the following divs and their code (which includes display grid/list) as it was not wanted on our site. <div class="product-filter"> <div class="display"></div> <div class="limit"></div> <div class="sort"></div> </div> <div class="display"></div> I then deleted all the js at the bottom o...

Re: [1.5.0]Set grid view as default

anyone that is looking for it, it is catalog\view\theme\default\template\product.
Remember to make your own theme and not edit the default files, it is fairly easy to do :)

Re: Accordion Category Menu (OC V1.5 upgrade)

Thanks to Celestial who fixed the extension to work with V1.5!

We would like to have the accordion module at the top of the page. The only way I know how to do this is by setting the module position to Column left and in the css use absolute positioning ...

Anyone know of a better way?

Re: [BETA] Upgrade Script for 1.4.x to 1.5.x (NO OPTIONS)

Q, Thanks for your reply At the bottom of the upgrade script you have written: This is a beta script and your mileage may vary. This was tested with a default install so customizations may cause additional problems I only have a very basic coding level. I ran the upgrade beta upgrade script but am w...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.0 Released!

Just copying the theme is not enough because the common/header.tpl has many of the css calls and such hard coded to the default theme folder. You have to modify the calls to pull from your new folder. Duh, sorry I must be tired, yes of course :drunk: Creating a layout is as easy as clicking new lay...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.0 Released!

Yes you can, but my guess is you are confusing what a layout is. A layout is simply something to attach the various modules to. My guess is you are thinking of templates which you can add your own templates too so that they show up in the store template selection. Thanks for your reply. No, I was n...

Re: Do NOT redirect to cart from product page?

In Admin/Extensions/Modules/Cart I enabled the Ajax add to cart. Now items get added to the cart without re-directing. Good but I do not want the animation. Got stuck again. I decided to look at catalog/view/javascript/jquery/jquery-1.3.2.min.js and see if I could stop the animation by changing some...

Re: Do NOT redirect to cart from product page?

The upgrade went OK and did not produce any errors. But I have lost my design modifications?

Code: Select all

import your backup files, delete cache and that;s it.
Do you mean I should upload the backup files, what purpose does this have?

Cheers
