Re: OpenCart 1.5.0 Bug Thread

For me the image/file manager is empty, I replaced my opencart 1.5 with the fixed version and this resolved the issue however after updating files to the latest downloadable version it has broken again. If someone could confirm what was broken I could look at just applying a quick fix myself. Thanks...

Custom Price OpenCart 1.5

Hi guys, I'm using the new OpenCart 1.5 release. I would like to quote customers based on various parameters and then place a product with a custom price into the shopping cart. I understand that this can be partially achieved through selectable options but would like full control over the price of ...

Re: Paypal Express customisation

I understand this Qphoria, what I mean in this instance is for example the .tpl contains the following fields: <input type="hidden" name="business" value="<?php echo $business; ?>" /> <input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="<?php echo $item_name; ?>" /> but there's no mention of the word busine...

Hi guys, I'm just performing some customisations to the Paypal Express payment method, I'm struggling to see how it works, in the .tpl hidden form fields are populated with data but I don't see where in the controller this data is added? Could somebody explain or point me to a brief explanation of h...

Re: 1.5.0 Screenshots

I understand the closing of the other 1.5 threads, but please keep us updated if the time-scale for release is going to change as I and I assume others have a client waiting on this, which whilst I don't expect it working bug free right away, wish to start on extensions that exploit the new 1.5 feat...

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Even if it has a few bugs, I'm wanting to get my hands on the general structural changes and so not a preview in order to begin implementing important plug-ins for clients whilst the 1.5.0 BETA gets its good old debugging going.

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Thanks Daniel for confirming Feb release date, can keep my client off my back now! Everyone who's moaning about new features should be requesting them in the feature Requests forum space. It's not your job to prioritise. Likewise if we keep asking to delay updates to add more features not only will ...

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Do we have any updates on 1.5.0 ETA? I know I must sound like an annoying user but I have a client that requires the 1.5.0 functionality and I'm recommending we hold for 1.5.0 as opposed to invest time and money into modding 1.4.x but if the estimate of at least a BETA by the end of February was not...

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

By the way guys, in regards to password to demo site being retracted.

I noticed the e-commerce solution for concrete5 has a demo that works by having a cron job restore the demo every hour so that even if someone breaks it it doesn't last. Perhaps something like this would be a good idea?

ok nearly everything is nearly done now. 2 things left. oe the manual order system and cleaning up css and other little bits of code. Awesome looking forward to it! I can wait for one page checkout, important thing for me is that I don't have to completely redo my customisations by committing to 1....

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Wow great work. The new options screen is everything I need, at the moment I'm mish mashing my own system into 1.4 to allow uploading and custom option entry. I'd really love to see a BETA and in fact a final version soon, any ETA yet? IMO I think it's best to push this version out and simply add ne...

A few requests

I've noticed that there has been a request for email validation, what I'd like to see is the ability to move a customer into a certain group upon validation of certain domains. For example any e-mail from a .ac.uk domain can be considered a student/lecturer. I've noticed that costing has now been a...
