I've referenced every link relating to SSL , forcing SSL , https, multi domains, multi site set up - all of which have helped to an extent. EVERYTHING works now. the only thing that doesn't work, is adding https:// when my secondary domains go through checkout (because it wont let me add the SSL URL...

Re: URGENT! unable to enter SSL URL and save

forward thinking there...the problem is with opencart's coding or lack of support, yet lets just change everything else instead of addressing the issue.

Re: multi site SSL URL why 1st domain only?

I have a multi domain certificate that covers all of my domains. The certificate works well when typing in say https://www.domaind2.com - I get a green padlock, and no errors for any of my domains on whynopadlock.com but when I type in the https://www.domain2.com - all my links then refer back to my...

Ok great, thank you for helping!! I'm editing the database>store table as we speak, but I'm getting the same old 'return to primary domain' issues, when applying the https:// to the URL and when I add the https:// url to SSL line in the store table, I get the same error messages on the front end, an...

Re: Opencart 1.5.6 Multi-store does not work

No, because all my domains are unique URLs, not sub domains i.e.

domain.com (has no www. as this creates a www.www for the secondary domains - instead I redirect to https://www)
www.domain2.com
www.domain3.com

All domains reference to my public_html

Re: URGENT! unable to enter SSL URL and save

I couldn't find a way to fix the settings form, but I found a way to at least insert my https url in there and make it work. The key was finding the two places where I need to insert it. The obvious first one is of course in the store table. Just change the ssl column in each row and don't forget t...

Re: why no padlock error www.www.domain.com invalid URL

Fixed this one by making the primary domain http://domain.com

and secondary multi domains, http://www.domain.com

This stopped the double www.www from appearing.
