Re: OpenCart v1.5.0

Daniel , I hope you agree. It is crucial. There should be firm timelines (padded, of course) which are met most of the time. If it turns out they're not being met very often, more padding is required. That's what communication is all about. Many people (store owners, customers, developers, designers...

Re: OpenCart v1.5.0

opencartisalright

That would be excellent. I prefer making my own navigation links in the top navigation menu.
Categories should be modular in a side column.
Can you refer to any page where it shows more clearly how it looks? Thanx.

Re: OpenCart v1.5.0

The tabs have been removed in the latest SVN release. The Login/Logout buttons have also been tweaked. You can view the new template on my test site here: http://www.xboxgamingnation.com/opencart/ Yes, it looks so much better with the Drop down menus! Great! :) Personally, I prefer exactly the same...

Re: OpenCart v1.5.0

- when changing the description to reviews etc would be nicer if it faded quickly rather then just immediate change like here http://www.worldofclean.co.uk/fusion-8-2l.html
Nice feature, +1

Re: OpenCart v1.5.0

Daniel the cart page is getting very cluttered. Indeed, keep it simple! Stick to the motto less is more Also, assuming that not everyone will make use of the Shipping estimator, Shop-owner should have the ability to turn off the feature in Admin panel. Is it possible to implement? I would like to se...

Re: OpenCart v1.5.0

Daniel you mean this file. Thats the one! The beta/RC theme is nice too but in my opinion the header buttons remind me of 1.4.x. and it is a bit cluttered. I agree. +1 the current design is not set in stone. if i can think of one better before all the bugs are complete I will change it. maybe i will...

Re: OpenCart v1.5.0

Daniel One Page checkout looks great!! :) Good that you let yourself be convinced. I would like relate to the design though ( or new theme ), I thought that it would undergo a change for the better? I thought that one of the innovations of the new OC 1..5.0 version will be MEGA MENU dropdown list th...

Great work Daniel!! How about the design of the new Mega-dropdowns menu that we could see in OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA* Demo ? Did you made it into a separate module to be enabled/disabled ?! Daniel ewverything is nearly done. it will be be any day now. I'm running around just fixing lots of little to get the next release ready. Have you made any progress? It all gets a bit comical now. Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

This is great, but I think what a lot of people could use is a 0.5-page checkout. I've heard it converts at least a hundred times more sales. When can we expect that? Kindergarten manners. What is your intention with the type of posts?! You think it is in any way constructive and contribute to the ...

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Q t. Did someone ask for one page checkout? .. well guess what is holding up the show! ;) Think it was me who brought it up first time..... :) Once the normal checkout for reg and guest is combined into a common path, then we can focus on a single page checkout. Until then we will have to 2 paths fo...

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Daniel

there is a lot of stuff in 1.5.0 that people have been nagging me about for a long time.
1. Sounds like a lot. Are you thinking of something special?

2. How long more will it take before we can see the fruits of all your hard work??

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

I am working on a new combined checkout process as I've listed above.. I am looking to also improve the process (remove the account success page and make it a message, combine the login and non-registered checkout into the same page, etc)
Absolutely wonderful! :)
