Site Security Seal Shows One Line Down...

I'm using 1.4.9.6 and just updated my SSL for the next three years. This means I had to add the new site seal to my footer. Now, the old one displayed correctly and was just under the dividing line at the top of the footer, horizontally in line with the payment icons and copyright text. I'm not sure...

Re: Wanted: Simple Affiliate System for 1.4.9.6

Anyone? I've only had one PM and it was not a serious inquiry on the job.

Wanted: Simple Affiliate System for 1.4.9.6

OK, I'm looking to add a simple Affiliates/link tracking system to 1.4.9.6. Here's what I had in mind, that I think is probably pretty simple: A simple page, in the admin only. There is no customer-facing portion necessary. The page would be accessed under either Catalog > Affiliates or Reports > Af...

USPS API Changes...

Received this from the USPS today. Does this affect anything that will cause issues for Opencart (I'm on 1.4.9.6, but asking about Opencart in general, really). Web Tools integrator; As communicated first in May 2011, outdated versions of the Web Tools Domestic Rate Calculator API (Rate and RateV2) ...

Re: Filter Orders by Product Name or SKU?

That's a possibility. -EDIT- Or not, that's for 1.5x, my mistake, I forgot to include the version in my post. Fixed - Ideally though, I'd like to just tell it to show me all orders containing item "X" in the actual admin console. It doesn't need to have the actual items displayed in a column anywher...

Filter Orders by Product Name or SKU?

EDIT: Sorry! Using 1.4.9.6!

Is there a way to add this ability easily? Or has anyone done a mod that does this (haven't found one yet).

It would be vastly useful for me to be able to filter and pull up all orders that contain a particular item when viewing orders.

Re: Total Sales - Calculate From Subtotal Instead of Total?

I still think having this be the way it handles Total Sales is bad, if no alternative total is provided by default to show just the pure total of product sales. Did you like the way Windows 3.1 handled things? No.. that is why they made Windows 95. You are arguing the point that we already addresse...

Re: Total Sales - Calculate From Subtotal Instead of Total?

This is why I was confused, because the code you were telling me to replace is present in 1.4.x, and telling me how seemed strange if it didn't work for the version I said I was using. And a 1.5 upgrade is not happening anytime soon, not with the money and time spent on getting everything right for ...

Re: Total Sales - Calculate From Subtotal Instead of Total?

Sorry Q, but your last response has me confused. Let me see if I have this: I can't just modify Total Sales or reports, even though model/report/sale.php has code similar to what you showed I should change in model/sale/order.php? I have to modify how the orders display their totals, and then that w...

Re: Total Sales - Calculate From Subtotal Instead of Total?

*EDIT* Just to make sure this is clear - as my title says, it's the Total Sales being reported that I need to change, not the order totals. Where I need the different totals is in the Admin Dashboard (where it shows Total Sales and Total Sales This Year), and in the Reports > Sales page. And yes, I ...

Total Sales - Calculate From Subtotal Instead of Total?

Retitling and rewriting this since I think I can better explain now what it is I am looking for. Using 1.4.9.6 Shipping costs are not taxable, and for the purpose of reporting my sales for tax filing, they should not be included. Also, since they are not actually part of the sale, having them as par...

Re: Q's Login Sidebox - How to Stay on Same Page?

Sigh.

Sometimes, it feels like this community is very helpful. And sometimes, it feels quite the opposite, and openly apathetic or hostile. What the hell. ???

Re: Anchor usage

@Sidecutter - is your system better for SEO reasons than just adding the full URL and #anchorname to a URL Hyperlink? If so and you are sure that it works perhaps I should be doing your method instead! Any thoughts? The system I have been using does seem to work well but I'd like to know if its stu...

Re: Anchor usage

The jQuery piece of code in the header is nice, but know that it may break the DIV tabs functionality. For example, the Description and Reviews tabs on the product page, which look like this: <a href="#tab-description"><?php echo $tab_description; ?></a> <a href="#tab-review"><?php echo $tab_review...

PayPal Standard Return URL Question

Per the instructions, the return URL provided to PayPal should be http://www.yoursite.com Now, I assume this was written with a site in mind that was located simply in the root, so that the URL goes directly to it. However, mine is in a subdirectory, /store, to allow for my test copy, in the /test f...

Re: Q's Login Sidebox - How to Stay on Same Page?

Admittedly I'm not a coder but I've been playing with the second version of the code you gave off and on since last night Q, and the closest I get to a working sample is code that when you log in, immediately goes to the page saying your account has been logged off. This makes me wonder if this is w...

Re: Q's Login Sidebox - How to Stay on Same Page?

Nope :( Same issue, appears to submit the info/reloads the page, but nothing changes and it's not logged in. Full original file contents just for quick reference in case anything that affects it is maybe slipping past: <?php class ControllerModuleLogin extends Controller { protected function index()...
