Re: OFFICIAL v1.4.9.3 BUG THREAD. POST ALL BUGS HERE

No. There is already a $sort for url in most cases. Darn — and here I thought I'd really found something. :( It is true that using the same variable for the foreach is bad practice... That's what caught my eye — it just looked out of place. But then again, I haven't gotten to that part of the book ...

Re: OFFICIAL v1.4.9.3 BUG THREAD. POST ALL BUGS HERE

On search.tpl I found this on line 61: <?php foreach ($sorts as $sorts) { ?> Shouldn't it be...? <?php foreach ($sorts as $sort) { ?> If so, that whole section would need to be changed to: <?php foreach ($sorts as $sort) { ?> <?php if (($sort . '-' . $order) == $sort['value']) { ?>   <option value="...

Re: Change Categories List To Mfg's List on search.tpl

Xsecrets wrote:the manufacturer id's won't be found in the product_to_category table.
Yep, you're right — I missed that. Unfortunately, it didn't help.

I made some other changes but I feel like I'm getting nowhere. Enclosed is version 3. Hopefully I'm getting closer.

O.K. Not sure if this is what you were referring to, but I updated getProductsByKeyword and it still doesn't work.

Re: Change Categories List To Mfg's List on search.tpl

I'm not sure I follow you. Shouldn't the following two functions be enough to work?

getProductsByManufacturerId
getTotalProductsByManufacturerId

Change Categories List To Mfg's List on search.tpl

I'm stuck. :-\ I'm trying to replace the categories pull-down menu on the search page with one that shows all manufacturers. I've got it to display the menu properly, but when I select a manufacturer from the list, no products are found. However, if I select All Manufacturers from the list, the item...

Re: Searching by manufacturer_id doesn't work

If you select a manufacturer from the Brands menu, the URL shows:

Code: Select all

http://localhost:8888/index.php?route=product/manufacturer&manufacturer_id=13
So it is possible to search by manufacturer_id — just not if you append a keyword to the URL apparently.

Searching by manufacturer_id doesn't work

When searching for an item # and I add manufacturer_id to the URL, the search fails. [1]Here's a normal search that works: http://localhost:8888/index.php?route=product/search&keyword=CS1224C&model=1 [2]When I add the manufacturer_id, it returns nothing: http://localhost:8888/index.php?route=product...

Re: Changing some text on checkout confirm page

I don't want it to change anywhere else but the spot circled in red Sorry. I saw that in your post but... :-[ Unfortunately that's not possible the way it's coded, as that text is generated inside a foreach loop. You'd have to remove that loop and "hard-code" all your fields there, but that's proba...

I believe you'll find that text in catalog/language/english/shipping/<filename>.php

Re: PCI -Compliance Failed

I haven't had to deal with this yet, but this raises an interesting question. Even though OC cleans the data and eliminates this problem, how do we convince the CC companies when all they'll look at are reports like these?

It's too bad that's not the default choice then. When I click 'Search', the cursor is automatically placed in the regular search query box and I just start typing.

I'm glad to know about the Google search option and will try it out.

Re: "One-way" Related Products ?

Is it possible that you would have made another thread without searching? Who? Me??? Never! ;) BTW, I didn't create this thread. But even if I had, I'm sure you're well aware that the search function of this forum leaves a lot to be desired. I hope that we ditch this piece of junk soon and get some...

Then I'll rephrase my question: ;)

Is a 'Shipping by SubTotal' module going to make it into 1.5.0? I'd really like to see that module brought back.

BTW, Daniel mentioned removing it, as he thought no one would use it, so I thought it had been part of the core.

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Last time I check and it was some time ago and I don't really think they removed it dreamweaver handled php just fine. it showed it to you in the code view and put a little icon in the design view If you're a visual person, that "feature" does you no good. how would PHPTAL be any different? PHPTAL ...

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

i hate smarty Personally, I would like to see the addition of a templating system like PHPTAL . It allows you to use HTML apps like Dreamweaver and actually see what the layout looks like since it uses XML-like tags. Having templates like this would open the door to a lot more designers, since it w...
