Re: Contrib - How to show category images on home page

There is a mod called Categories Home which handles this beautifully without any need for modifying the core code.

Re: Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Is there any reason for the horizontal scrollbar in left and right modules?. I'm not sure why thats there. it does not do it on my test server. I also see it on Safari 5. Overall, I like the look, however unless there's a way to get 1,000 categories/subcategories to work well with a megamenu, I'll ...

Re: Change Categories List To Mfg's List on search.tpl

afwollis wrote:why do you want replace categories?
what about just add manufacturers?
That could work. For me, I was just going to replace the categories since we have about 1,000 of them and people probably wouldn't know which one a product was in anyway.

Thanks,
Marc

does it not do this already when you set different locations for each store?
I'm not sure, but if so, where do you put the different formulas?

Sorry if I missed it, but does 1.5 allow us to have separate shipping calcs per store in a multi-store setup?

Re: MultiVendor Shipping

Instead of going the multivendor shipping calc route, we will use a multi-store setup with one manufacturer per store. Is there a way to have a separate shipping calc per store? Each mfg charges a different amount for shipping and one would need a UPS module. Is this possible?

That section of code is not being called, apparently. I echoed out the function getProductsByKeyword, and when I enter a...

Re: [MOD] Filtering product by manufacturers in categories

I'm writing one that filters by manufacturer on the search page, but I could use some help. If anyone is interested, you can see my vQmod script here:

Re: OpenCart Transactional (aka InnoDB support)

Was an ERD ever made? I tried multiple times to create one with MySQL Workbench, but it didn't work. None of the tables were automatically joined.

The pdf mention above is no longer available.

I hope it doesn't get removed. It may be a moot point, but I like to see when it was last run.

Re: [MOD] - VirtualQMod - Log Timestamp

One more suggestion and then I'll stop — for now. ;) UTC time is hard-coded in vqmod.php date_default_timezone_set('UTC'); Could you code it to automatically retrieve the local time so that the timestamp in the log reflects that? I've manually changed that line to read: date_default_timezone_set('Am...

Re: [MOD] - VirtualQMod "vQmod" Virtual File Modification Sy

you know komodo has an option in the edit menu fix line endings that will remove all the green squiggles at once. I know, but I'd have to do that pretty much every single time I viewed the log, which would get old fast. Anyway, I just wanted Q to know in case it was more widespread than just me. Af...

True, but try reading a log with half of it underlined in green squiggles! ;)

I fixed it on my copy, so all's well that ends well.

Could you force all lines in the log to be \r\n? That would eliminate the problem in Komodo.

Re: [MOD] - VirtualQMod - Multiple Line Endings

Q, When viewing vqmod.log in Komodo, there are a bunch of lines that are underlined with green squiggles. According to ActiveState, this is due to having multiple types of line endings in a file. I guess some IDE's are more sensitive than others. I went through vqmod.php and replaced all occurrences...
