Re: [RELEASED] - 0.7.9 File Upload

It is not the permissions, I already talked to my host.  The weirdest thing is that when I installed the product option plugin, even without the upload, when I try to add anything to the cart,  it gives me php errors.  Should I try 0.7.8? Proposed experiment.  TEMPORARILY, move your top level .htac...

Re: [RELEASED] - 0.7.9 File Upload

what would cause this? I don't know.  The top of the suspect list would be your .htaccess file in  /home/capemb/public_html. Can you verify that you have correctly located your localized perl uploading script at     /home/capemb/public_html/opencart_file_upload.cgi and that the file permissions on ...

Re: [RELEASED] - 0.7.9 File Upload

When I try to upload an image it either just sits there or gives me a bunch of junk, what do you think? http://123picturethis.com/index.php?controller=product&path=22&product_id=21 Rob, your cgi-bin is not working.  It looks like your site is rewriting the url and redirecting to the OpenCart error ...

Bug when using url alias

I've noticed that there is a bug when Use URL Alias: is set to Yes.  The progress bar and the thumbnails do not work under that condition.  I'll put out a new copy when I've fixed the problem.

[RELEASED] - 0.7.9 File Upload

This contribution supports customer uploaded image files.  It is appropriate for catalog items that require a customized photo file supplied by the customer (e.g. T-shirts, coffee cups, embroidered goods). There are two distinct parts of the contribution -- the first enhances OpenCart with an extens...

I've had an inquiry about availability, so I'm posting an update in case anyone else is curious. My target date for release of the file upload extension for OpenCart v0.7.9 is October 13th, 2008. I still need to add or enhance the following features: error handling file extension restrictions (jpg, ...

Re: Does the Framework Documentation exist?

Since OpenCart is already a google code project and the Wiki page http://code.google.com/p/open-cart/w/list is empty, would it make sense to begin creating some documentation of the internal structure of OpenCart there? But, it might be better if there were a separate google code project just for th...

Making Product Option and extensible object

One of the difficulties I ran into while writing the file upload extension to OpenCart involves the way that product options and values are implemented.  I wanted the uploaded file to behave similar to a standard product option (like Size, Colour, etc.), but I wanted the value of the option to be de...

Using Perl for the upload.

One of the choices I've made to implement file upload is the use of Perl.  From what I've been able to glean from the collective wisdom of the web, file uploads in PHP require a special PHP extension that provides the necessary hook to implement a progress bar.  I thought the addition of such an ext...

File Upload Extension to OpenCart. Available soon.

Hi, I have been working on a file upload addition to OpenCart.  It is coming along nicely, but I still have some more work to do before I can make it available.  This feature is intended to make it possible to order items with custom photos printed on them.  (For example, coffee cups, baseball caps,...

Re: Error line 71/141

Line 69 sure looks like a typo to me.

Instead of:
        $controller = 'controller' . preg_replace('/[^a-zZ-Z0-9]/', NULL, $action['class']);

Don't you really want:
        $controller = 'controller' . preg_replace('/[^a-zA-Z0-9]/', NULL, $action['class']);

??
