Re: Apple Style configurator

I've seen several posts here for pc builder or something like that.
There might/should be a mod (probably paid) for that in the extension area.

Re: Code Error

That's is why I started with "If there were changes". I had thought the same thing but the OP didn't mention anything about mods/extensions being added. @adesignl We are trying to help you but you are just posting errors that shouldn't be happening with a regular install. Did you update your cart? O...

Re: A problem with my website, Please help

Check the permissions on your cache directory. Start with 777 and the work your way to a more secure setting.
If 777 doesn't work then the above suggestion is going to be needed.

Maybe you hosting service tighten up permissions due to the recent hacking spree.

Re: Code Error

If your cart was working before and if you haven't added a mod or something, contact your host. Seems like your mysql db went bonkers.

Re: How would I make the contact form work without JS enable

Turning off captcha will increase spam. However I do not suggest to list your email on the sit you'll get scraped and then will enjoy daily Viagra emails :(

Hmmm? How do you turn off js for your browser?

Re: Seo Friendly URls

Only thing an other script could cause problems in thus ace is with htaccess but you are editing that.
However, your hosting services could have something funny hiding or their http.config / vps setup could possibly be doing something.

I'd contact them and ask what gives!

Re: Upgrade from 1.2.9 to 1.5.1.1

ohhhhhhhh! that is an old version. Basically, you need to upgrade up through to the 1.4.9.x series. Then upgrade from there. However, product options will be Fook'ed! Start over! Gives you a chance to reword things and do some house keeping at the same time. Might spend more time but depending on th...

Re: What is the best way of getting Traffic ?

Having information that people want to read! OR products that people want to buy ;D
Other than that you'll spend most of your time building up links and working on SEO which draws you away from your site.

So, content, content and content!

Re: Which OpenCart Version

Latest version is best bet. Each version has less errors but then again sometimes something new slips in and well ... what can you do.

Be aware that product options are not transferable!

Re: Please help - site hosed

So, what was the problem?
Was it a typical hosting company doing maintenance or trouble shooting problem hardware?

BTW, I used to have 6 chinchilla tabbies at once in my small apartment! Talk about hair!
I want to get a tiger though! :)

Re: Learning Opencart

I don' t know ... $150 for a cart that you're going to have to design and add all kinds of functionality ... why not just just html and a button for paypal checkout? You will have to learn any application be it paid or free. Opencart is not that difficult to learn. Take a look at more famous ones ;)...
