Re: Error: Could not load cache driver file cache!

Since you have moved host, you must check your "config.php" files. The Catalog one is at the root of your site and the second is in the Admin folder. These files contains all the paths to your website. If the paths are incorrect the webpages cannot be found. You can edit them manually but you need t...

Re: New Theme wants me to replace common.js file

Well done for spotting this potential problem! I certainly would not overwrite the default common.js, because this will affect the default template. Make sure you compare the 2 files first. If your theme file is identical to the default one with only added scripts, then it should be ok to overwrite....

Re: New user need help

Ok, it looks like some of your files are not at the right place ... but I'm not 100% sure. It is an "open_basedir" restriction, that means that some of the files (../vendor/autoload.php in your case) cannot be found by the "startup.php" loader file. This obviously prevents the installation from runn...

Re: Admin Permission Denied!

You want to check the "user" table in your DB. Compare it with your previous installation (if you have a backup). If the table is empty or some data has changed, try re-inserting it with the correct values by running a similar query to the one below, in your PhpMyAdmin Query window. INSERT INTO `oc_...

Re: [Contribution] Removes index.php?route= from Opencart 2.

Interesting but I don't really see the point when all "information" pages can be Seo_rewritten anyway.

By default you get the same result without modifying anything.

I guess it could be useful for some other pages ::)

Re: SQL to SQLI - Warning: mysqli_query() expects at least 2

I think your SQL is not correct, try this: $mysqli_query = $this->db->query("SHOW TABLES LIKE '" . DB_PREFIX . "company_details'"); if ($mysqli_query->num_rows) { $company_query = $this->db->query("SELECT * FROM " . DB_PREFIX . "company_details"); foreach ($company_query->rows as $company) { $compan...

Re: Bloqué sur step_1 (stay on step_1)

Hi,

At step_1, is everything showing "writeable" or "ok" ?

Have you renamed the 2 "config_dist.php" files to "config.php" ? (1 is at the root and 1 is in the admin folder)

Re: Failed first time installation

Ok, here is the correct way of doing a clean install: STEP 1: Create a new Database on your server. Recommended "collation" is "utf8_general_ci". If you have messed-up the first time around, make sure the DB is empty. Drop existing tables if any. STEP 2: Upload ALL the files contained in the "upload...

Re: space

Filenames should not contain any spaces!

Replace spaces with hyphens or underscores in your photo file names, before uploading them to your server.

Re: Add to cart showing "button_cart" instead of "Add to car

Check that the button definitions are called correctly in the controller:

Code: Select all

$data['button_cart'] = $this->language->get('button_cart');
$data['button_wishlist'] = $this->language->get('button_wishlist');
$data['button_compare'] = $this->language->get('button_compare');

Re: 1.4 to 1.5

Which version of 1.5 are you trying to upgrade to? latest v1.5.6.4 (recommended)? If yes, the upgrade script in v1.5.6.4 is very stable and backward compatible up to v1.3.2! Simply upload ALL the new version files, but keep the 2 old "config.php" files. Then type: <mydomain>/install/index.php in you...

Re: PHP Notice Help - Talk to me like a 3rd Grader

OK, I'll do my best to explain whats going on, but since you are not familiar with the files and the code I won't try to explain what to do to fix it. You will have to get your dev to do it. So, when you try to create a customer account, you are being asked for name and address. When you come to sel...

Re: Cannot connect to mySQL server.

First of all, MySQL is deprecated, so use MySQLi instead. So you have created a new DB at your server ? You have created a User for the DB ? ... So you then have a Hostname and a Password for it. Tip: recommended Collation is "utf8_general_ci" Make sure the DB is empty of tables, then run the OpenCa...
