Re: Trying to organize Excel file for OpenCart import

Also the Total Import PRO is able to import Product Options from a CSV file.

Re: extensions download counter?

Looks like it's just been added, but it only counts from now onwards. That's a shame, would've been good to know about the past, but awesome, thanks whoever added it, ...Daniel, Q?

Re: Uploading CSV

Yes, check the User Guide PDF document that comes with the module, it explains why images don't work, and how to make them.

Thanks :)

Re: How to use full URL for the images?

You can put the full URL in the image field in the DB, but you will need to modify the OpenCart core to make it work. The image field is not storing a webserver path, it is storing a filesystem path to the image. The URL is generated later in PHP and output to the view.

Re: Import Export tool

From the outside, it sounds like you've not modified the admin/view/template/common/header.tpl file correctly. Check the installation instructions again for something about header.tpl.

Re: My Site has gone to text based and lost all of its forma

This file is missing: http://www.specialistsecurity.eu/catalo ... esheet.css

Without your CSS file, that's what your store looks like.

You can check in catalog/view/theme/default/stylesheet/ to make sure this file has not been deleted.

Re: Import Export tool

It should be under the System menu, called Import / Export.

Re: Importing Bulk products (import/export module)

Hi Matt,

Sure does, I'd say that "making it easy" is the key benefit of CSV Import PRO and Total Import PRO. Check them out at http://demo.hostjars.com/admin.

Re: I am using Localhost, How do i install a module...

Installing modules is the same whether on a local server or a live webserver. Just find your OpenCart installation directory, and follow the instructions that come with the module you wish to install.

Good luck!

Re: Import / Export of customers

Products can be imported using the Import tools in my signature, check them out at my demo store. If you can export your cs-cart products as csv or xml, you should be good to go.

[RELEASED] FAQ module

There weren't any available when I needed this, so I made my own. By the time I finished a bunch of others had sprung up, but that's cool. This FAQ module displays questions as a jQueryUI accordion. Quite a useful addition to an ecommerce store. Available here for free, or for a small donation here ...

Re: Page id

If you go to edit that page in admin, you will see the page id in the URL, something like this: information_id=5

Re: Conditional If Statement for Product

It's getting there, this is better:

<?php if ($category_id == '60') { ?>
Free Shipping
<?php } ?>

This assumes that $category_id variable exists. It is just this line that doesn't make sense:

<?php } endif <?php } ?>

Re: Another slow page loading problem

That's the one. It affects all pages because your top nav bar has categories in it, and is on every page.

Re: Category URL Error

It seems ok - it actually seems better than a page not found for your customers. When you have the SEO keywords enabled, OpenCart translates the URLs internally which is why you're not getting page not found 404s.

Re: Another slow page loading problem

It is probably your categories. It takes a long time to query the DB for category counts, there is a forum topic somewhere about this, and a mod in the store for fixing it. This is probably all you need.

Re: Page speed Issues (trying to find cause) [SOLVED]

Agreed. Category counts are important and they shouldn't be that slow. Although it's understandable given what the SQL has to do.
