Re: [VQMod] Admin/Control Footer modification

Have you looked in the vqmod.log file? if something going wrong with the xml then it should be listed in there as to what's happening, o at least give an indication.

Re: Slide show display problem

Regardless if it's banner or slideshow, if the images are appearing in a list then it's down to the Javascript not applying it's styling like it should. More than likelly down to a missing file (although can't be sure as you havent mentioned if it's a default install), so reupload all of the files i...

Re: Addresses Missing In Invoice and Email on New Orders.

Have a look in your phpMyAdmin and see if the 'order' table is populated with address details, see if the data does actually exist.

Dont see why they wouldnt but the orders do, but it's a start at figuring it out

Re: [VQMod] Admin/Control Footer modification

Well, I havent gone through the whole code, but this would certainly be one error <file name="control/language/english/common/footer.php"> control should be catalog. Why dont you just edit the language files directly btw? there's nothing wrong with doing so. Also, you are free to do as you wish when...

Re: DB query in header controller

I kinda get what you mean, but your going about it the wrong way. Slowing down the page render or anything is not going to solve anything, infact, it already "delays" when your custom code is run, but the problem your having I think is the data your trying to manipulate in the DB has already been fe...

Re: Changing field for return order numbers

uksitebuilder wrote:admin/model/sale/return.php

find and replace 2 occurrences of:

Code: Select all

(int)$data['order_id']
with

Code: Select all

$data['order_id']
Don't think you'd want to be vulnerable to injection attacks...

Code: Select all

$this->db->escape($data['order_id'])
Much better ;)

Re: Image Caching Increasing Image Size & Slowing Page?

Re: Image Caching Increasing Image Size & Slowing Page?

Well if your going down the route of manually creating all of the required images yourself, then sure disable it if you want. So, would you create the images in ALL the sizes needed for OC? ie, category image (180x180), admin views (40x40), admin preview (100x100), blah blah blah? or are we JUST on ...

Re: "Add to Cart" on Product page does nothing

I see what's happening now I think. Basically, everything is controlled by this bit of JS at the bottom of the product.tpl file. <script type="text/javascript"><!-- $('#button-cart').bind('click', function() { $.ajax({ url: 'index.php?route=checkout/cart/update', type: 'post', data: $('.product-info...

Re: Import products from a non-Opencart CSV

Then I can only suggest going to use one of them. Not trying to be funny with you, but it doesnt exist. What more did you want me to say other than hiring someone? Did you expect me to code something myself for you for nothing? I'd already said that there isn't anything that'd do what you want for f...

Re: Import products from a non-Opencart CSV

The same way I've suggested - modifying their current data to suit an extension, or paying. Theres never going to be something straight out of the box that'll work with your data or anyone elses data - as I've already said - we dont know how your data is structued, or anybody elses! And your not the...

Re: Can I reset invoice and order numbers in OC 1.5.x?

Run this in your SQL program

Code: Select all

TRUNCATE `order`;
TRUNCATE `order_download`;
TRUNCATE `order_history`;
TRUNCATE `order_option`;
TRUNCATE `order_product`;
TRUNCATE `order_total`;
this will completely clear the order tables, and also reset them.

Re: Image Caching Increasing Image Size & Slowing Page?

Images that are created on the fly are always going to be quite bad at compression, as php doesn't natively support the compression needed to optimise images the same way photoshop would for instance. There are "plugins" out there that do enhance PHP in terms of image commpression, but it is extreme...

Re: Import products from a non-Opencart CSV

So, your after something, that'll work exactly how you need, without modification, that's free, and without informing us how the data is even structured?

Not going to happen im afraid.

Your only options are to pay for an extension, pay for a custom extension, or manual entry.

Re: Import products from a non-Opencart CSV

Seen the free import tool? http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=17&filter_search=import&filter_license=0&sort=e.date_modified&order=DESC you will have to modify the csv you have so it's compatible though. Other than that, unless your willing to pay, or can't ...

Re: MySQL to display changed tables / rows - phpmyadmin

Could you not just look in the order model file and see what it's coded to add/change?

Seems a better way of finding out - you wouldn't know when it actually changes if you just compare before and after.
