Just some information if this helps at all.... I use CPANEL and MySQLto create the databases. I have access to phpMyAdmin - the database has been created. Zero entries. are you on a typical host with cpanel? Yes you have the database server set to localhost? Yes if you are on shared hosting, you may have created a db named "oc1" but the shared host prepends your username automatically to make it "user_oc1" Yes, I am aware of this. I create databases every day. :-)...
