Re: Adding a Blog Page - (wordpress based)

Hi Tophat,

Is the wordpress blog still working for you?

If so, would you be able to pm me the details of the programmer who did this for you?

Or alternatively, if anyone has any instructions on how to do this it would be great.

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Removing AJAX from product tabs

Hi Adzeds, I've added your xml code, and it's working nicely so thanks for that. I thought I'd point out one thing I've noticed though, and it relates to the date. Here's an example of the date that is inserted for a review: <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="1970-01-01">22/08/2012 The problem ...

Re: [RELEASED] Add to Cart Confirm Popup - V2

Hi Harryo,

I've made some changes to the default theme already, so after purchasing this mod it isn't working. If you could pm me details of which files you need to change to get it working that would be great. I sent you a pm a couple of days ago, but no reply as of yet.

Thanks,
Dan

Re: subscribe to the products in the store

Has anybody had any luck getting this working in any form?

I've noticed a couple of site with a "subscribe and save" feature, and I think it's a great idea. Any extensions in the works?

Re: Adding a Blog Page - (wordpress based)

Hello again, I've followed both of those guides, and what I have ended up with is a wordpress blog and a new opencart section...but there still doesn't seem to be any way of getting the wordpress blog to be fully integrated into oc - i.e. with the login & shopping cart still present on the blog page...

Re: Adding a Blog Page - (wordpress based)

Hi Tophat, I haven't actually bought it yet, although I said I would ages ago. The reason is I've been waiting for the universal login feature and the developer hasn't answered my email from a fortnight ago. However, someone in the last comment on the module page says this has now been implemented. ...

Re: Adding a Blog Page - (wordpress based)

Yeah, it should be very useful indeed.

As the blog is controlled via wordpress I assume there's some scope there to use wordpress plugins; I'll experiment and report back!

Re: Adding a Blog Page - (wordpress based)

I've been speaking to the bloke who's built it, and it sounds great. It's fully customisable assuming you have css knowledge, and more so if you know how to modify wordpress if further modifications need to be made. It'll be updated next week so you can have the login text/shopping cart on the blog ...

Re: Tabs in information page

I've just discovered what was missing, for anyone who might be experiencing the same problem:

<script type="text/javascript"><!--

$('#tabs a').tabs();

//--></script>

I added this at the top of the information/information.tpl file and all is now working fine.

Tabs in information page

Hi, I'd like to have some tabbed information on one of the information pages (about us) and I've managed to get the tab code to only appear on that page. However, the tabs aren't working for some reason - the text in each tab isn't being hidden, it's all just turned into a long page of text and the ...

Re: Custom layout for just one information page

Hi Consolibyte,

I'd like to modify one of the information pages - so I'd be very interested to hear exactly what you changed in the information.tpl template, if that's ok.

To be more precises, I need to add tabs to the About page, without also adding these to the other info pages.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Tophat,

Did you get very far with this?

I've been looking to do the same thing, but it seems there's now an extension for it:

Yeah it is irritating, but as it doesn't seem to affect anything I reckon I'll leave it as it is. Thanks.

Re: HOW TO: Add CSS class to BODY tag (must have for themers

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I don't mean having the same class added to all pages; it would be a page-specific class, so e.g. on the category page it could be .category, on a specific product page it could be .exampleproduct, and on the about page it could be .about, etc etc. This would just...
