Re: How to add Product.Model to Featured Products Module

In your themes template/module/featured.php just add

Code: Select all

<?php echo $product['model']; ?>
within a <span> tag between the name and price lines. Put in some <br> tags or whatever you need to lay it out how you need it.

Re: Change header image when language changes

I'm not sure if this would work without looking into it, but I beleive you can have HTML tags in the language definitions. So maybe you could create a new line in the header language files and then call upon it in the template in place of the normal code. If that makes sense? There's probably a bett...

Re: Remove newsletter feature

I believe you still have to remove it directly from the code - see: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=6358

Re: Progress Towards 1.5.0

Personally I would say not to worry too much about IE6. The public beta of IE9 arrived the other day so hopefully it won't be too long until it's actually out properly. IE6 usage stats are going down and down and to be honest people need a reason to upgrade.

Re: Store front errors

Do you have a link to the site so that we can see what's going on with it? Sounds like missing CSS files or something.

Re: Navigation Breadcrumbs

This should be done automatically?

eg: http://demo.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... duct_id=41

Unless I'm misunderstanding you.

Re: Progress Towards 1.5.0

1.5.0 is looking really great. Seems there are alot of new features being added so I won't mind adapting templates for it being a new major version.

Re: Keep name of website in title followed by current page

I think

Code: Select all

<title><?php echo $store; ?> - <?php echo $title; ?></title>
Should also work :)

Re: remove top links

I've just taken a look at your site - you will need to delete everything WITHIN the div3. So remove from the first <a> to the closing </a> just before the closing </div>...so it should read: <div class="div3"></div> <div class="div4">... Or to comment out: <div class="div3"> <!-- COMMENTED OUT CODE ...

Re: remove top links

You should be able to find them within the
catalog/view/theme/default/template/common/header.tpl file. Just comment them out or remove them altogether if you like.

Re: Advice please

I think OpenCart is really easy to use and setup to be honest. Just make sure you meet the requirements (eg. hosting with a MySQL database) and you should be fine. And there are plenty of templates around if you don't have the design skills.

Hi,

Your screenshot isn't displaying to me at the moment.

However, you can change the email template file, it is located at:
catalog/view/theme/default/template/mail/order_confirm.tpl
