Re: Removing billing address step in checkout [1.5.1.3]

Correct, and I agree with that. But when using OpenCart with Paypal, they can put in false information in our OpenCart for billing information, put in their correct shipping information for both OpenCart and Paypal, and submit the order. Paypal doesn't reveal the billing information for the payment ...

Re: Admin/Sales/Customer/Transactions?

So I am about to issue my first Store Credit to a customer. I wanted to test it first to make sure it is working properly. So I logged into the Admin, found my test account in the customer list, clicked on Transactions, and added a $10 credit. I then opened a new browser, logged in with my test acco...

Re: Removing billing address step in checkout [1.5.1.3]

Well, I can understand though why the billing information is not necessary. For example, we use Paypal as our payment processor. Paypal doesn't care about any of the information for billing or shipping, all of that information is internal to Paypal. However, in my experience I have found that once a...

Re: Admin Filter Products Bug

We are running 1.5.6 and having the same problem. When I do a search for the word ear, nothing is popping up, even though I have 10+ products each containing that word in its title. I found this solution on the forums, but when I did a search for the code, "if (isset($data['filter_name']) && !is_nul...

Product tags all cleared after upgrade

We recently upgraded from a much older version of Opencart to the newest version, and while most of the information and functionality of the system transferred over, it appears that all of our "Product Tags" were deleted. We still should have access to the older version of Opencart on a test server,...

Question about Zone Plus Shipping

Is there a way to only enable a geo-zone if they spend a certain amount of money? I.e. I would like "Priority Mail" to be listed as an option if they spend between 0 and $50, but if they spend $50+, I would like "Free Shipping" to pop up, and Priority to go away. Technically I could just do this in ...

Re: How can I make the "postcode" required when registering?

We are using 1.4.9 on our site, we upgraded recently. We started getting customers who were having problems with registering accounts, and I couldn't figure it out until one of them mentioned that adding a zip code fixed it. So using this thread, I was able to change the files in the catalog/view/th...

Re: Problem with sales tax calculated on shipping

Still having the same problem. It charges sales tax correctly as long as there are 2 different items in the cart. But if there is only a single item in the cart, when it sends the information to paypal, it doesn't seem to be sending the extra sales tax for the shipping costs. So OpenCart and paypal ...

Re: GeoZone and taxes

I purchased ZonePlus and all 5 of those GeoZones are subtotal based rates. I read through the "For Dummies" thread multiple times, and I was actually curious about that. In your example, ------------------ How Geozones work with customer address Geozones map directly to the Country and Zone that the...

Problem with sales tax calculated on shipping

So I live in TN, where they require sales tax to be paid on shipping options. I was trying to test a flat rate shipping option on my new Open Cart system, and I am getting an odd problem. If I add multiple items to my Open Cart cart, everything is transferred to paypal correctly. (Open Cart info) //...
