Re: Changes to the default header layout

Actually I have sorted it. I installed Viewthemes custom CSS (which is also very good) and added the following lines of code and all seems well: @media (min-width: 768px) { .col-sm-3 { float: right !important; I am not sure !important is necessary tbh but anyway that sorted it and it looks fine stil...

Re: Changes to the default header layout

Hi,

Yes I did change that - I set it to col-sm-5 for example but the search bar and cart moved across too. Not quite there yet :(

See screenshot.

Re: Changes to the default header layout

Just one other thing if you wouldn't mind. How do I alter your script slightly so that the logo is just 50% wide rather than 75% wide. I plan to use an image background in the header area with it's own clickable link between the logo and search box, etc. so don't want the logo area to extend that fa...

Re: Changes to the default header layout

I identified the issue as a modsecurity issue - fixed now.

Thank you again for the perfect solution.

Re: Changes to the default header layout

Thanks so much. That sounds a perfect solution except that when I click save I get: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /webshop/admin/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Any ideas? Robster

Changes to the default header layout

Hi First of all apologies if this is the wrong section to post this request (admin please move if needed). First time I have posted here in yonks. I am wanting to use the default Opencart 2.0.3.1 theme on my next project to avoid the ususal problems of extension compatability, plus the fact that the...

Version 1.5.3.1 download

Hi Can somebody tell me where I can download this old version of Opencart. I tried to do this from the Opencart download area but I am getting a "The page isn't redirecting properly" error and can't get the files. I am trying to trouble shoot a client's 1.5.3.1 install prior to upgrading to latest v...

Re: Any way to move Search Bar to Right of Screen?

@viethemes I sent that information to my hosting company but they could not understand what exactly you mean: "Can you please provide more details regarding this. Specify what you want to disable in the server." I don't understand either so could you help explain a little more? :) Thanks Robster

@viethemes

Are you still with us? I have asked this question here, on the extension page and twice through your ticketing system but had no response. Hopefully you can assist with this.

Re: Any way to move Search Bar to Right of Screen?

Hi Glad I came across this post as it is exactly what I am after. However I have installed your fine free Custom JavaScript extension and tried to enter the code you mention at the top of this post but when I hit save I get: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /test/admin/index.php on this...

Re: Undefined Index: activate

Randem wrote:Ok, so the MOD is changing the header.tpl and footer.tpl with css changes?
I guess one of the mods is causing this - the only css changes are colours, nothing more complex than that.

Re: Undefined Index: activate

The main reason I didn't upgrade to 2.1.0.x is that not all the extensions I am using have been upgraded that far.

This is a fresh 2.0.3.1 install, when I say upgraded I actually mean a replacement for our old 1.5.3.1 site.. Default theme (although with much css changes).

Re: Undefined Index: activate

are those VQmod errors the result of you trying to change your footer? If not, it appears you have some vqmods that are trying to update both your header and footer.tpl files. I'd review the vqmods you have in place and see which are trying to modify the header and footer. You check the vqmod error...

Re: Undefined Index: activate

Hi Randem I could only see a zip file (v2.1.0.x DebugTrace.zip) with an vQmod xml file in it. The instructions say simply to upload this to my install and that /system/storage/logs/RSSQLData.txt will be automatically created. In any case, I am using mysql not mysqli so it will not work anyway as you...

Undefined Index: activate

I am having weird issues with my newly upgraded oc2.0.3.1 site, basically I am unable to make any footer.tpl changes take effect and some extensions are just not showing on front end. I am seeing multiple mass errors in logs: 2016-02-24 10:55:00 - PHP Notice: Undefined index: activate in /home/kanba...

Re: Upgraded - modules not being created

@artcore I found this beautiful extension: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=account/download/info&order_id=696491 It took care of my upgrade with virtually no hassle. All I need now is someway of 'mopping up' once I have finished the design and module work on the new site. By this I mean a w...
