Re: Footer won't clear

div1 is not currently set to float left. Also I probably would remove that top margin of 140px that I mentioned.

Do you want the text in side or outside of the main div? If you want it inside on footer div1 add float left to the ...

Re: sub level navigation problem

if you add to your class "#catagory ul a:hover {
background-color: #3E6F9B;

you will get that rollover effect you had back. Besides that I think it looks good.

Re: sub level navigation problem

all of your style is in the #catagory .ul a which is the the end of your list which is making it a standard list. I would start there and add the styles to the ul and li instead of the above class.

Re: Ajax Image loading position in IE 6

upgrade :) ie6 has not been supported by microsoft since 2001. It is by far the worst browser ever. I don't even develop sites to be compatible with it anymore to much time involved.

Re: Why my site doesn't show on google?

You have absolutely zero content for any of your products, which intern gives google no reason to even index! Write a unique description for each of your products and see what happens you will get indexed.

Re: css help with IE

It is actually your right column that is pushing the center div down below. Internet explorer is not smart enough to read the stylesheet. I messed with your stylesheet and adjusted some of the div's margins paddings and widths and think I fixed it. Here is the amended css. I removed the container di...

Re: Changing the most stupid image upload system

What I do for my site is in the image manager I create a folder structure that mirrors my categories and sub categories. I also rename all images with the product name and item number for example "bruneau-jasper-135.jpg" and so on. This keeps all related images in there proper category and organized...

I implemented a jQuery smart search plugin for my site that returns the search using Json for the results. It has made things a lot easier for my customers to find stuff as most of my products people do not know how to correctly spell. ;D http://www.cabochon.ws if you want to see the search in actio...

Re: Plug-in concept for the Opencart community

I will totally agree with needing this implemented into the frame work. It just will allow more people to be willing to contribute extension and mods, let alone having to mess with the core. Plus it makes it a lot quicker to change things around. It's like doing a math problem yes I can use a pencil...

Re: jquery-1.3.2.min.js to jquery-1.4.2.min.js

I honestly think that Jquery tools should be used as well. Just because it's not as well known now doesn't make it not secure! IMO that's very close minded for example if people 7 years ago refused to use firefox just because IE was more popular where do you think we would be now? Or even Open Cart ...

Re: Problem with subcategory

Did you by any chance use the same seo keyword for both category and subcategory? If they have the same name this can happen.

Re: Basic SEO to kick-start your Online Store

If you have the google toolbar installed and type your url in your browser google will find your site. I always block google on a new site via htaccess until the site is ready to be live just to prevent the indexing of pages that I don't want indexed.

Re: Where do I change blue highlight on dropdown selection

Thanks for the replies and link. Q I did that search after I had posted and realized that it is the browser default and nothing to do with the code or scripts. I was able to get it to work in firefox with css but when testing in IE of course it doesn't.

Thanks again,
~Jason
