Re: Insert product images problem
I sorted out my earlier issue which might help you....
In the root dir > image > cache - change the data folder permissions to 777.
Worked a treat for me.

Re: price without VAT and with VAT in invoice
It would be a great feature if VAT was calculated separately once the total price was entered - as its a nightmare to do it manually. Also VAT reg number should be included on invoices automatically as its a Revenue requirement for registered companies.

Re: Insert product images problem
I'm having the same issue on OC 1.4.7 today. The image file is uploading sort of (Camel.jpg) - at least the data part of it, but there is no actual image itself to view as it just displays a '?' mark in the image manager. I have set all folder permission to 777 - does anyone have a solution to this ...

Re: Added Site Security
Its a suggestion, as per the forum topic, for future development for OC as I am a keen supporter of the project.Xsecrets wrote:if you are that worried about it there are simple instructions on the forum on how to rename the admin folder.
If it was an issue then I would have posted this in the 'support' forum!! Jump to post

Added Site Security
If a visitor knows the OpenCart store system they can add '/admin' to the URL address and get to the backend login page. This is the same with Joomla which is considered a high potential security risk. The Joomal solution is to add the 'jsecure' module which lets you add a secret password onto the U...

Re: Image manager not working
Hello, i've had a similar problem and it seems it was all caused by an error in the Analytics Code that my host had provided for ALL of my pages. Going there and disabling Analytics Code fixed the problem. Did you 'uninstall' the Google Analytics module or just 'disable' it in the module to get ima...

Re: Image manager not working
The Image Manager is not working with Firefox 3.6 or Safari 4.0 - its very frustrating as it used to work okay!
I have replaced the image files to ensure there were no .gifs or other in there, but to no avail. Anyone with a solution yet?

SEO URLs problem!
I have just found out that my hosting company is using a Zeus server, so I cannot use Apache based .htaccess scripts or files. Zues uses a rewrite.script to do the same actions - does anyone have the correct script or know of a way to work around this issue?

I put the correct strings in and the site is up and running - its just the 'image manager' that is not working. I think it might be something in the admin/config.php file that is causing this - does this look right to you?? define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://mysite.ie/web/'); define('HTTP_CATALOG', 'http...

Re: Removing "Powered by.." - how much?
[quote="blacksun"]The edited line in home.php should read $_['title'] = '%s '; works for me. Nice thing is, you could replace that text (Powered by Opencart) with anything, and it would append your dynamic titles on any page. Hi, I have been asked to replace the OpenCart text and link by a...
