Re: [vQmod] Image Filename

Hi d7a7z7e7d, Can you please update this mod to work on OC 1.5.1? I tried editing like this as commented in your extension page: Line 49: <search position="replace" offset="4"><tbody id="image-row<?php echo $image_row; ?>"></search> Line 51: <tbody id="image-row<?php echo $image_row; ?>"...

Re: [vQmod] Image Filename

Great timesaving mod! But please, please, make it available for the additional image tab. Adding several images for the same product is a pain and usually you tend to number the images for the product: copy/paste, edit number, continue is much faster than waiting for the image browser, seek the file...

My shop: Dona Tança (babygear)

Hi,

After a while learning about OC and migrating from a first painful experience with Magento, I've decided to open my company webstore.

http://loja.donatanca.pt

Besides lots of missing products and some images, the design is almost complete.

What do you think of it?

Thanks!

Re: Post any OpenCart 1.4.7 Bugs here!

Hi, I've noticed in 1.4.7 that when adding or editing a product it "disapears" from the product page in catalog->products and I cannot re-edit them. The products are being added ok (in the db) but never show up in their page. BTW, I upgraded from 1.4.6 to 1.4.7 and used the 146-147_upgrade.sql EDIT:...

Re: OpenCart v1.4.7

Thanks for the update Daniel and Q! And specially for the 1.4.6 -> 1.4.7 PATCH!! The 1.4.5 -> .6 transition took me about 3-4 hours and a database restore. The 1.4.6 -> .7 transition took… about 20 minutes (and that includes a comparison of all files and mods, translation, SQL queries, etc) All I ca...

Re: Mudar títulos

Viva!

É só preciso mudar o CSS do tema (usualmente stylesheet.css na pasta stylesheet) e em ".box .top" alterar:

Code: Select all

text-transform: uppercase;
para

Code: Select all

text-transform: capitalize;
E está feito, todas as caixas terão os títulos com a primeira letra de cada palavra em maiúscula.

Re: FIXED - 1.4.6 - AJAX "Add to Cart" not working anymore

I just had to remove one of the scripts… I guess it was too buggy. Anyway, now everything works ok! :)

Re: 1.4.6 - AJAX "Add to Cart" not working anymore

Well… I guess it does, because I cannot run any of my scripts… Here's the HEAD of my header.tpl:

<?php echo $title; ?>
<?php if ($description) { ?> <meta name="description" content="<?php echo $description; ?>" /> <?php } ?> <base href="<?php echo $base; ?>" /> <?php if ($icon)...

Re: 1.4.6 - AJAX "Add to Cart" not working anymore

Hi Daniel,

I've been able to reduce the issue to an external js script (for an image slideshow) that I had in the header.tpl… Weird though, because it used to work and now it broke.

Anyway, I don't really think it has anything to do with the Opencart release…

FIXED - 1.4.6 - AJAX "Add to Cart" not working anymore

Hi, I've updated my site from 1.4.5 and now the AJAX animation when I add something to the cart no longer works. When I "Add to Cart" I end up in the Cart page, leaving the product page. Curiously, this only happens in my theme after the 1.4.6 update, not in the new default theme, hence everything s...

Feature Request: Upgrade engine.

I really like OpenCart, but upgrading it is a real pain!! The release of v.1.4.1 requires, for a v.1.4.0 store, a complete backup and redesign of DB variables that is way too complicated and error prone. If you have a serious store, running this kind of upgrade becomes a nightmare of downtime and lo...

Re: Creating custom pages for each category... Is it possible?!

Thanks to Qphoria I've managed to get things going pretty well. And here is my result if anyone has the same issue. Here is how I modified catalog/controller/product/category.php (I don't need the extra CSS, but it can be handy) if (file_exists(DIR_TEMPLATE . $this->config->get('config_template') . ...

Re: Creating custom pages for each category... Is it possible?!

Thanks Qphoria!

So you CAN do it!!! :)

It's a little "hacky" but I love it, and I think I can manage with two category.tpl's since all I need is to "shutdown" the product presentation in the top categories, but keep them in the sub-categories.

Again, thanks, and wow, you're fast! :o

Creating custom pages for each category... Is it possible?!

Hi! I've been developing my company store for a while and after a few months of hurt I decided to switch from Magento to OpenCart. It's amazing! OpenCart is simple, fast and powerful. I got the backbone of the site working and ready in about 2 days (it took me over 2 months to understand Magento!) Y...
