Re: Installing 2.1.0.2 to Replace 2.0.3.1

Not that I'm aware of and personally, I don't use any of the files from an old version and mix them with a new versions files. I create a sub folder, upload the new set of files (why aren't you using 2.2?) and create a new database with a copy of your 2.0.3.1 database. Have read through all of the ...

Re: Installing 2.1.0.2 to Replace 2.0.3.1

Thank you. Is there a reliable resource detailing the next steps involved to populate the subfolder OC with my current OC content, then move this to the root to replace the 2.0.3.1 shop with 2.1.0.2?

Installing 2.1.0.2 to Replace 2.0.3.1

I am attempting to install 2.1.0.2 on a sub-directory of my main domain, with a view to replace my current live 2.0.3.1 shop after testing.

I'm currently stuck at Step 1/4. Clicking continue just reloads the same page: . . ./oc2102/install.

Re: Hacked Account

Unfortunately despite a previous commenter's assurance that the e-mail and PayPal account of the hacker was invalid, I have discovered that one transaction did go through to the hacker's PayPal account before I noticed the change and restored my settings. I asked my customer to send me their payment...

Re: Admin Login - Urgent Help Needed!

Response from my host: You'd need SQL query logging to see that and unfortunately it wouldn't be feasible to enable that on a shared system I'm afraid. It would generate gigabytes of logs in just a few minutes. In terms of the cause, three things to check first:- 1) OpenCart is fully up to date and ...

Re: 2.0.3.1 Order Status Change Error

In that case I'll just update via PayPal and leave the OC order unchanged until someone can provide a fix for the order status change error shown above. I would suggest you move up to at least the 2.1.0.2 version to alleviate some of the problems you are having with OC... I agree and would love to ...

Re: Admin Login - Urgent Help Needed!

I would make sure firstly that your DB wasn't accessed remotely(you should disable this in your hosting control panel or if you have a VPS, bind SQL to localhost only) or via a script uploaded to your site. Check the SQL logs for the time the paypal settings were modified and see what and who did t...

Re: Admin Login - Urgent Help Needed!

I find it deeply concerning that I was suddenly unable to login via my usual admin account, and when I logged in via the backup, I noticed that this change to my payment details had been made.

Is there anything I can do to increase admin security?

Re: 2.0.3.1 Order Status Change Error

OK, thanks for the info, but I think you misunderstood.

By "tracking", I'm referring to the physical postal/courier tracking number for my customer's package. I want this to sync with the OpenCart order status record:

Re: Admin Login - Urgent Help Needed!

It would really help if you posted your OC version at a minimum. Every version is different. There are many reasons this could happen and it's usually different for almost every site. I'm using Version 2.0.3.1 and just realised that my PayPal Express Checkout extension had been uninstalled, and Pay...

With this not working, I'll have to add the dispatch info via PayPal to inform my customers. Is there a way of syncing the PayPal transaction status with the OC order?
