Re: 2.3.0.2. - Google Base feed generates prices without currency

Since I didn't find a more elegant solution, I just changed both occurrences of '</g:price>' to '.00 CZK </g:price>' in the aforementioned file. The feed is in correct format now. (Of course, the downside is that I can't use any other currencies in my shop, but in my case that's not a problem.)

Re: 2.3.0.2. - Google Base feed contains only 35 out of 133 products

products in categories where you have set the google base category Thank you, this is very interesting indeed. I don't think I've seen this mentioned ever before. We have some products that are in "Category > Subcategory" while only "Category" is mapped to a Google category. This is probably the re...

2.3.0.2. - Google Base feed generates prices without currency

Hello, I am using the default Google Base product feed included with OC 2.3.0.2. The default currency (and the only one used) is CZK - Czech koruna. The feed only displays the price as a number without decimal places or the currency code (i.e. <g:price>659</g:price>). This is not accepted by Google....

Re: OC 2.0.2.0 - change layout to be compatible with default theme after switching from a non-default theme

Ehh.. I just realized one important fact I totally forgot about. When we bought the template from Template Monster three years ago, there were some issues with the front-end. So instead of installing the template itself on vanilla OC 2.0.2.0, we downloaded a modified version of OC 2.0.2.0 from TM wi...

OC 2.0.2.0 - change layout to be compatible with default theme after switching from a non-default theme

Hello everyone, I have a shop running OC 2.0.2.0 which was using a custom template from Template Monster. I switched back to the default theme. Of course, the layout of the front end is totally messed up now, because the layouts are optimized for the custom template I no longer use. I tried clearing...

OC 2.3.0.2 default theme - categories menu on the left in homepage makes it not responsive

Hello everyone, I'm using the default template with OC 2.3.0.2. I wanted to have the menu with the list of categories on the left side instead of the horizontal line on the top. The obvious solution is to go to Design > Layouts > Home and add Category to the Column Left list. Then, in order to not d...

Re: [vQmod] - Force Login/Register to see site (1.5.x/2.x)

Hello, thanks again for this great extension, the problem I mentioned before is already solved. But I have a more interesting question. How difficult would it be to add a possibility to access and use the shop without registration for users who would obtain a URL that would work like a code to acces...

Re: Generate brands from all manufacurers?

Take our apologies for the delayed reply.

Unfortunately there is no way to convert manufacturers into Brands. We recommend you to check http://www.slideshare.net/Tonytemplates ... -open-cart
so... a lot of clicking for me:)

Generate brands from all manufacurers?

Hello, I'm not sure I understand the relationship between Manufacturers and Brands in 2.0. (And older posts I found seem to treat them as synonyms.) We have several hundred manufacturers in our shop, however under Brands in the left column of the footer, there are only the default brands from the te...

Re: How to change order_id for Invoice number

Is this supposed to work in 2.0?

The SQL command was successful but the order numbers don't seem to be changed.

EDIT: it does work, I'm just stupid and didn't realize I need to create a new order to see the effect.

Hello, I have a strange problem. I have no idea where does it take the old version from or wh...

Bulk add products with a tag to a category - SQL maybe

Hello, we have a OC 2.0.1.0 shop with some 2000 products, 300 of which have a product tag "gluten-free". Now we are redesigning the shop and we need to use a category instead of a tag for these products. So we need to add the 300 products to category "gluten-free". Is there a way to bulk add product...

Re: Hide category listing from login page

Thank you cyclops12. Surprisingly, wrapping the part of code you suggested in if ($this->customer->isLogged()) {} doesn't help. The top categories are still there even when no customer is logged in. I double checked the syntax,. I cleared the cache and restarted httpd. Still no luck. How can this be...

Re: Hide category listing from login page

To elaborate: If I remove anything between <div class="container"> and <?php echo $content_top; ?> it results either in no change at all or it causes part of the formatting to be lost but no text is lost, as if it were affecting CSS only. (I can send a screenshot if this isn't clear.) I thought TPL ...

Re: Hide category listing from login page

Thank you Qphoria, I tried removing <?php echo $column_left; ?> before but that doesn't work (it removes a different part of the page). I have trouble locating the exact place where the list of categories is in the template, that's the problem.
