Which Facebook/Paypal login extension actually creates an OC account with name address, etc?

I want to create a way for customers on my site to login more quickly without the hassle associated with creating an account and entering all their personal data. I have looked at various social media login extensions but they tend to just log you in via say Facebook email and password and that is i...

Re: Is it time to prune the Extensions?

I guess the moneyback guarantee issue goes away if the quality of the extensions improves. If every extension has been checked by OC and "approved" there isn't an issue. The problem I had was I bought an extension and it just simply did not work. My own developer even fixed a load of the b...

Is it time to prune the Extensions?

BTW I'm not a techie, I'm someone who runs several eCommerce websites, all on Opencart. I've been looking through the extensions store to see if there is anything I could add to my site. And my overwhelming feeling is that there is too much stuff, too many irrelevent extensions and too many competin...

Which Paypal Express Module?

I want to install Paypal Express on my site but there are 3 mods to choose from and very little it would seem between them. Any ideas/experience of them?

Re: Partners

How do we know when we get approved as a partner?

We have developed quite a few OC sites, it's our favourite software for eCommerce. I submitted a partner request a while back but have heard nothing.

Re: New Affiliate System in Opencart

WARNING: Avoid this affiliate module at your peril. I paid $100 to C MANIKANDAN, email soft.technee@yahoo.com, and installed his affiliate software on 1.4.8. There are several problems : 1. The programme is bug-ridden , Juergen had to fix over 20 bugs. It is probably best described as early Beta. 2...

Re: Paypal Payments Pro problems

Have now sorted out this problem.

Basically you are better off avoiding the Paypal Payments Pro (UK) module and using the regular Paypal Payments Pro module instead. Just go into your Paypal account and request API details through your Profile. Worked perfectly first time without any headaches.

Techie OC help needed in UK

Hi, We are just developing a new site in Opencart and need a little programming help with some specific issues before launch and may need some mod development afterwards. I don't mind what country you are in so long as you are in a time zone which is reasonably compatible with UK business hours. Ide...

Paypal Payments Pro problems

I use Paypal Payments Pro and have finally got it working (sort of). 1. I didn't realise you cannot have spaces in the postcode - really this needs to be coded into the module. 2. It also seems to insert + symbols in the spaces of the name eg. "W R Fryer" becomes "W+R+Fryer" by t...

Re: Shipping Labels?

I use labels from integratedlabels.co.uk and asked them to go into the back of my site to modify the invoice code so that it fits their integrated label paper. They were quite happy to do this for me. So now when I print invoices I just select the orders I want to print and load up the correct paper...
