Re: [SOLVED] Updating extension without losing data?
I am quite late on this. The easiest way to do this without code change is to delete the modification from the modification menu. Once its deleted, modification record will be removed from the DB but the extension remains at the place and its settings are not removed from the DB. Now, go to the exte...

Re: RESOLVED - OC 1.5.6.4 Email Not Working - Please Help
Well, I wasted my 3 to 4 hours working in the same direction of checking with my mail host settings. But this issue is not related to mail settings rather it has to do with the OpenBay Pro that comes up with the OC 1.5+. Even if you install it or not, there is below code in file /catalog/model/order...

Re: USPS shipping label API- Now available
Haven't heard of it..was working on Endicia/DHL directly.. but it seems a good idea to integrate it.

Re: Google Analytic code - permission to access admin//index
I have figured out the issue. It was due to a rule in the mod_security module. Google Analytics code in the Settings tab was breaching the security rule. I added the arguments in the white list and it worked.

Re: USPS shipping label API- Now available
currently there are no integrated solutions that I know. There are stand alone application which can extract data from the cart & do the rest. You can check that on Endicia or Stamps website.

Re: USPS shipping label API- Now available
Actually USPS doesn't expose any API that allow the deduction of postage directly from USPS. I have checked it many times with USPS otherwise I would have implemented it. They asked me to use any of their partner i.e. Endicia or stamps.com. This is the reason that all available 3party software which...

No, currently my extension doesn't deduct the postage, you will have to buy the postage separately. at least couple of months for release of Endicia extension.

Re: USPS shipping label API- Now available
I will have to check if USPS offers any such API that can be integrated in OpenCart. But earlier I once checked but i didn't find any. Other solutions are Endicia, but they don't have any integrated solution with OpenCart. I am building one for Endicia and Opencart, once it is done i will update on ...

Re: USPS shipping label API- Now available
No, this service is no longer works as USPS doesn't allow this. There is a different API for return labels which is not implemented in this extension. the demo site for 1.5.x version doesn't also support this option of Customer As Originator.

Re: Opencart slider conflicting with FishEye Menu
Thanks for your reply. No it is not solved yet, if you keep the site open for a while, you will see that slider's transitions are not going smoothly. Sometimes slider transition doesn't cover the whole banner and transition looks weird.

Hi, I have a default Opencart slider installed on a site. It was working fine until I installed a jQuery Fisheye menu. Now the animation of the Slider got some weird behavior. checkout the site at http://101.0.64.250/~dsmtoolb/ There is an "interface.js" file that has the code for FishEye ...

Re: USPS shipping label API- Now available
There are six domestic services are supported, the cost is determined by the weight of the product being shipped. It is sent to USPS before the label generation.. the cost is deducted from the account of the owner maintained with USPS.

Re: Printing USPS Shipping Labels
Hi, You can use the USPS shipping option at the front. The shipping label will be generated on the basis of "weight". As USPS api looks for the weight & the Service Type (i.e. priority, express, etc.) to determine the post charges. Moreover, certain service types doesn;t allow the pack...
