Re: Size tap targets?

7mm is a bare minimum. Wouldnt hurt to make it 10mm. Also tap size is only one aspect. If You you are using default theme you should make all links texts bigger. Should be min 14px. To change it edit this file: catalog/view/theme/default/stylesheet/style.css then at the beggining change default font...

Re: General Question re templates & opencart upgrades

Upgrading to the lastest 1.5 version (which is 1.5.6) shouldnt be too painfull. I guess you would need to do only minor changes to the template.

But if you are planning to upgrade to 2.0 forget about it. You need new template.

As for making a template by yourself it all depends on your skills ;)

Re: Email notification not working Opencart 2.0.1.1

You may be able not to see any errors because you have error reporting off. Try checking log files. And read the whole thread :) There are are instructions what to change in the code in order to make emails work. You could also check if you have email notifications configured in System->Settings->Yo...

Re: Opencart 2 misssing CSS

Seems strange that the stylesheet.css is empty it should have something in it.
But OC 2 is Bootstrap based, so all the base css files are there:
catalog/view/javascript/bootstrap/css/

Re: How to disable account activation email?

I think that OC is not sending email confirmation when account is created by admin. To remove notification if account is approved by admin edit this file: admin/model/sale/customer.php Search for this code (about line 192): public function getAddress($address_id) { Then above you will have this: $me...

Re: Syntax Error Unexpected end of Input

The problem is probably not with php but with js. But it is really hard to say something if there is no more specific error msg anywhere. Do you have any modules installed? You can check if you have any file named like "vq2-admin_view_template_sale_[anything-here]" in the vqmod cache, in your store ...

Re: How to get control on customer emails?

Those settings are scattered in Options tab in your store settings.
Got to System->Settings->YOUR STORE->Option tab

Then look for the following fields:
New Review Alert Mail
New Account Alert Mail
New Order Alert Mail
New Affiliate Alert Mail

Re: Syntax Error Unexpected end of Input

Could you provide some more details?
What exact error message do you get? In which moment (standard editing order problem or somewhere else)?
Did you try to enable error displaying to get more info on the problem?

Re: opencart search not working

Dear Cue4cheap, Thks for help, Yes, it's work when i change back to the original default template, what you mean the right version of the template, do i need to upgrade anything or any code? Probably you are using a theme that was designed for older OC version. So you need to upgrade it (you need t...

Re: Email problem - Opencart 2.0.1.1

Did you try with SMTP set as mail protocol?
What errors do you get when sending email? Anything in PHP logs?

You could try also this thread (although it is for OC 2.0.2.0)

Re: OCMod vs VQMod

If you worked with VQmod then stick with it.
The biggest drawback about OCmod is that it is incomplete and it is also lacking decent documentation.
Many functions described on OCmod wiki are not yet implemented so you never know what will work and what will not.

Re: Notice: Error: E-Mail to required!

Nope, you didnt miss anything. I missed it in the first post:)
The Oc 2.x email related things are even more messed up then I thought. Seems that nobody never ever bothered testing it!

Re: Notice: Error: E-Mail to required!

OK, so in the same file you edited in the previous post (customer.php) below the line you added, add those two: $mail->setFrom($this->config->get('config_email')); $mail->setSender($this->config->get('config_name')); so it should look like: $mail->setSubject($this->language->get('text_new_customer')...

Re: Notice: Error: E-Mail to required!

OK, I think I have found it. Edit this file: catalog/model/account/customer.php The around line 80 you will have this text: $mail->setSubject($this->language->get('text_new_customer')); $mail->setText($message); $mail->send(); // Send to additional alert emails if new account email is enabled Add th...

Re: Notice: Error: E-Mail to required!

Sweet more and more errors.
So where do you get this
Error: E-Mail to required! in /system/library/mail.php on line 61
error?

And disable captcha temporary (in your store system->settings->your_store in the Google tab) and then try to send contact form. Lets see what error it is giving then :)

Re: Notice: Error: E-Mail to required!

Do you get it on contact page or in other pages?
