Make sure there are no spaces before or after the credentials you are copying / pasting into the configuration settings.

Re: slow site with 300 products ,

What type of server are you using? Have you considered using a CDN? Most CDNs will handle compression and converting images to Webp format, etc. Google Pagespeed is really hard to rank high with as well.

Re: 2 Stores same domain NOTmulti-stores

I made a clone of site 1 then changes all references in both config.php and admin/cong.php from site1 to site2 then swapped out the cloned config files with the new updated config files, so I am pretty sure it is not the wrong config unless there is something more I need to do or am missing. You'd ...

Re: SSL certificate - Broken web

For some reason I can't enlarge the images but I think you're calling your CSS file(s) over HTTP and not HTTPS. Having the domain would help to further check it. You can also run it through whynopadlock.com to see what they come up with. If you provide your domain, I'm happy to check this thread lat...

Re: PHP Limits...

It does not sound right unless your hosting company is being very restrictive. Contact them to raise it or send them the file to import over command line.

Re: Moving from one domain to another

Okay guys I did as you said. My store is in maintenance mode and instead of icons squares are visible. But if I log in and go to the website everything looks fine. BTW I use custom theme. I'll have to look for the .htaccess code that you need to have to make sure the icons display properly. It does...

Read the links I posted.
I wonder if there is a tool for customers to check and see if CloudLinux is being used or not. I did a quick search and couldn't find one.

Re: Blank screen on upgrade from Opencart 1.5 to 3

Just a note that, while upgrading to PHP 7 is a very good idea with many benefits. If host is offering older versions of PHP you would hope they are using one of the many versions with security patches backported. https://www.cloudlinux.com/hardenedphp https://blog.remirepo.net/post/2019/02/07/PHP-...

Re: Blank screen on upgrade from Opencart 1.5 to 3

Did you try enabling error_display to On within your php.ini file? There may also be an error_log file generated by the server in your public_html and/or public_html/admin folders. Check those locations when connected to FTP or file manager. This is 2020 and no one should be running PHP 5.x any more...

Re: Moving from one domain to another

If I am reading this correctly: Domain X points to a website made with the Godaddy Ecommerce builder and Domain Y is your Opencart cart store? You now want to have your Opencart store load using Domain X instead of Domain Y? If that is the case, the previous suggestions given are correct and there i...

Re: Issues when upgrading to mySQL 5.6

I've recently been told by my hosting company they are upgrading mySQL to 5.6 and I wanted to see if there would be any issues with my Opencart v1.5.6 when this takes place, or anything I need to be aware about to fix beforehand please? The site has gone through many bespoke customisations over the...

These issues have already been fixed on the master branch.
It would be nice if they'd release a patch version since it's been over a year. Not everyone knows how to grab the updates via Github

Re: Can anyone help diagnose a Multi Store setup?

In cPanel under 'addon domains (this screen - download/file.php?id=38779) you need to point the 'document root' to 'public_html' for the 2nd domain as well.

Re: Can anyone help diagnose a Multi Store setup?

I hope you are using your real domain name within the first screenshot. The SSL radio button option is under the Server tab. Is it enabled? How about the document root location for the other domain? Is it set to the same as the first domain you show?

Re: SSL Support

Both of your config.php files look correct. In the Opencart admin under System > Settings, go to the server tab and make sure the radio button is selected for SSL and save. If that doesn't fix it, I suggest these two changes in your .htaccess file: 1) Put a # before Options +FollowSymlinks ( #Option...
