Re: Order doesn't exist; not letting me create new order

Thank you for the response. I know that the payment system is working, because the order went through my payment site and I received the money and order through them. All confirmations were received through 2checkout. Admin panel claims that the customer signed up for a customer account, but there i...

Order doesn't exist; not letting me create new order

Hi there! I received an order (my first!!) yesterday and only found out about it through my payment site (2checkout), which sent me the customer's details and order. The customer paid and the money has been successfully transferred to my account. I go into the admin panel for OpenCart and the order ...

Re: Modify one category on header

I guess I'll just have to take your word for it and hope others can see it when they load my store, since it still isn't coming up for me, even after clearing the cache. Oh well.

Anyways, thank you very much for your help and patience, viethemes and deepvision. I appreciate it. ;D

Re: Modify one category on header

The change works on my "test" site, but I can't get it to work on my real store ( http://happyhamper.ca ), even though the two have the same theme and stylesheet code. I even loaded my store on another computer just to see and it won't work. I'm stumped. I think I might just give up on the idea alto...

Re: Modify one category on header

I'm doing what you said with my online file manager. I went into /happyhamper.ca/htdocs/catalog/view/theme/mytheme/stylesheet/stylesheet.css and added the code to the bottom. I got rid of the custom CSS code just in case it was interfering, and still nothing. ??? I got a free site with my host ( htt...

Re: Modify one category on header

Is it possible that there's some sort of override set in place? I manually went into the themes stylesheet even though it claims it's on the custom CSS, pasted in the code, saved it and loaded my store. The source code isn't showing any changes.

Re: Modify one category on header

Thank you to both of you. I downloaded your custom CSS extension, viethemes, and inputted deepvision's code just as it was written under the "custom CSS" tab under settings/edit store, but nothing happened?? (I'm sorry, I'm not too good at this; perhaps I've done something wrong again) My store is l...

Re: Modify one category on header

Thank you for the suggestion, deepvision. Do you mean the stylesheet (admin/view/stylesheet/stylesheet.css)? I copy and pasted the code into stylesheet, underneath the /*Menu*/ section; I wasn't sure if it matters where it goes, but I just stuck it in between two previous codes and nothing happened....

Re: Modify one category on header

Hmm, really? I tried it just now and everything seems to be working fine; my store loaded without a problem. I'm using 1% of bandwidth and everything is online... thank you for telling me, I'll look into that. ??? Is there a way to modify the code to make it work for OC2? I was thinking of even maki...

Re: Modify one category on header

Thank you for your response. And yes, I'd like to make the category title (in header) bold and change the colour. Ideally, I wanted to somehow divide the header into two parts with a division line after Our Signature Hampers. Something like this (the italics would be just text that doesn't link to a...

Modify one category on header [SOLVED]

Hi there! I know this question has been asked before, but every time I follow the advice given for OC1.5+ and change catalog/view/theme/mytheme/template/common/header.tpl, my entire site goes blank and I have to revert back to my unmodified version, so I'm guessing that the problem is the new versio...

Re: Best way to redirect/move a store to new URL??

Hi! It works! The blank screen turned out to be my fault: I added in the domain name to change the DIR, but forgot to take out the /upload from the original store, so I deleted all those "uploads" and both the store and the admin area seem to be working perfectly. As far as I know, I don't recall ha...

Re: Best way to redirect/move a store to new URL??

Hi, Thank you very much for your reply and some clarification! I copy and pasted all folders and files from the /upload folder to the empty /htdocs folder in my add-on domain folder. Then, I went in to config.php and admin/config.php and edited the URLs in the HTTP and HTTPS sections. I'm not quite ...

Re: Best way to redirect/move a store to new URL??

Hi Agatha! Thank you very much for your reply! I'm not exactly sure what pointing the domain to the store folder means, though. ??? (I'm so sorry; I must sound very stupid... this is my first time doing all of this) I have already pointed my domain to my host so that I now have an empty folder on my...

Best way to redirect/move a store to new URL??

Hello! This may have not been the smartest move in the beginning, but not wanting to invest too much money in my project before knowing I was capable of setting up a store, I started up my store on a free url offered by my host. I somehow installed OpenCart on a path of this site (I'm very new to we...

Re: Categories sidebar appears twice

It seems that you have added the category module in the content top and column left positions. You can go to admin > System > Design > Layouts > Edit category layout and remove the Category module from the content top position. Thank you very much for your help! It turns out I somehow had three dif...

Categories sidebar appears twice

Hi there! I'm still in the process of building up my store, but whenever I click on a category, the category "sidebar" (the bar appearing once you click on a category) appears twice, once on the side and again in the main section, so that I need to scroll all the way down to the actual product list....
