Most probably this is an issue with your hosting setup. You may have configured the sub-domain 'www' incorrectly and it may be pointing to some other location than your default website. If you are not able to fix this you may ask your hosting provider for help.

What about an approach similar to prestashop. Modules downloaded from official prestashop site are shown as authenticated. A warning message is shown for the ones that are not downloaded from prestashop site.
