Re: SEO Urls

So like I said, cat_id / cat url_keyword is completely ignored when loading the product page. Not disputing it being used for the breadcrumbs.. but that's not what this topic is about

Re: SEO Urls

I completely understand how OpenCart parses it's urls. It splits the url string by the slashes, uses the last segment from the array and looks this up in the Database. Ignoring any of the category seo keywords.

Re: SEO Urls

Yes, this is very common. Alot of CMS's / eCommerce platforms support this. I understand how the current system works. I'm after it to be improved. The url is a string, the code splits this up into sections by the delimeter '/' forming an array of 'sections'. The system only takes into consideration...

Re: SEO Urls

I understand the SEO Keyword for each product&category needs to be unique. But what I'm after is the SEO tool to be improved. If the SEO Tool was to consider the parent sections of the url, then each of the following would be classed as a unique URL. .com/beads/6mm/vegetable-ivory/ .com/beads/8mm/ve...

SEO Urls

Hi everyone, I'm currently developing a site for a client of mine who sells Beads. We're facing a problem with the SEO keywords. For example we have the following Category structure: + Beads - 6mm - 8mm - 12mm In each of these categories we're adding a product named "Vegetable Ivory". And wanting th...

Re: Menu bar not centered

I see what you're meaning now. It's only in IE8 (in ie7 compatibility mode). It's most likely caused by your closing of tags. Go through w3c validation, sort all the errors and it probably will fix it.

Re: Sage Pay Module - Urgent not getting paid!!!!!

Should work on Versions 1.3.4+. Guest / Member is supported too.

I've developed it starting on 1.3.4 but I upgraded to 1.4.0 when I completed the fix. But I don't think there was many changes between these versions that will effect the SagePay payment module.

Re: How to hide product price

Hide product price where? Product page? Category page?

You just need to edit the associated template files. I.e. Product page edit /catalog/view/theme/[themename]/templates/product/product.tpl search for $special, it's around that line

Re: How to Move module position

It's because it's MVC. It's pretty simple to do, I've done it myself with the basket -> header etc. 1. Copy the code from the module controller file. 2. Modify the Footer controller file to handle this code too. (you may have to remove a few lines from the module contoller file, it's not just copy a...

Create IE6 friendly PNG's. Use Fireworks, and create PNG-8 files with Alpha Transparency. No need for the PNG Fix Javascript really.

/catalog/view/theme/[your theme name]/template/module/

Good luck

Re: extracting customer ip address from phpmyadmin

You most likely would need to edit the model file, controller file, and template file for the change you're wanting to make. I'm guessing the email that's sent to you? or the admin view order page? It shouldn't be much work, it should be a matter of just altering one line of code. Hope this is of help

Re: Sage Pay Module - Urgent not getting paid!!!!!

Extract & upload this file to /catalog/controller/payment/ which will replace the existing sagepay.php file

Please post your results of this fix.
