v3.0.3.0 download package looks weird

Just downloaded and installed OpenCart v3.0.3.0 from this website's Resources >> Download section.

It seems to work ok, but some weird text in the admin panel begs the question - is that download package correct? Here's what I mean:

How to update extension status to enabled?

I'm building an extension for OpenCart v3.xxx . It does install and work as it should, but it shows disabled status when I check the extension list. Any tips how it's controlled?

Thanks!

Marketplace >> Submit/edit extension issue

As I understand, there's a bug in Marketplace admin panel when adding or editing extensions. For example: I upload 3 or more versions of the extension and set different compatibility for all of them (Download name / Compatibility / File) - one is for Cloud and specific versions, other - for old Open...

Re: Minimum price restriction for extensions?

I had no sales this month... Not sure if I will have any in the future now. Cause I have small mods and 20USD is too expensive for them, but keep them up to date and support their installation (from time to time) for free is not reasonable too. This is a dilemma... I thought that most of my extensi...

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

Any other extension developers are not too happy with the new lowest price ($20)? Half of my extensions are priced at $10 for years and the tiny modifications with decent support seems like the right price.

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

In the previous OpenCart website version there was a way to promote extensions. Is there a way to do it now? I can't find a link in Account page.

Building commercial theme based on default theme

Will I have copyright/legal issues if I build a commercial theme that will be based on a default OpenCart 2.x theme?
It would share at least 50% of original code to make it compatible with mods, with some changes in html/php, and some serious css changes.

Thanks.

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

I would recommend you check the experience of adding extensions in other software. Things like wordpress, prestashop, and so on. They are much easier on end users. I agree - having a single installation file with documentation that could be viewed from admin would be great. But since there is more ...

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

One more issue I noticed today (it was ok in previous weeks): Every image in the extension page description (frontend) is shown in a new line - even if you leave it in the same line with text. That's a bit annoying. I believe it's because every image in description now has class of .img-responsive w...

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

I take it the issue of downloaded ocmod files not being installable without the end user renaming the file isn't going to be fixed...ever? Would the opencart team at least consider putting some text around the download button that explains to end users that they'll need to rename the file? I someho...

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

GOOD: Nice to see that Sales number is shown in the extension page.

NOT SO GOOD:
1. Lots of extension images (banners) are missing - like here
2. Downloads number does not increase in extensions page (shown in free extensions).

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

If reports takes days to work out it would be great to get payments before them (for developers).

Agree. But please make styling changes after getting back Comments and Sales in the extension page

OCdevWizard wrote:Dear OpenCart developers, I propose to rename this line http://prntscr.com/d8bhzg to this "12 Months Free Update".
Are you agree?
Developers should offer support for their extensions, not just updates, so I think the line is perfectly fine.
