Re: Adding a disclaimer and a "accept" or "reject" button

Hey, wouldn't the method used at crazytoys.cz drastically effect seo preformance as every page visited would display this age verification message instead of the product information. indeed it does :( there are more issues at play here: 1. according to the law (with some mumbling from our lawyer) c...

Re: problem with foreign languages

Daniel wrote:Yes that is the fix. just find the request class and replcae the clean method with this one.

tell me if the problem is still there.
it is not the complete fix.
htmlentities() is all over the place.
but it's a good start.

it has been pointed out to you numerous times that

php.net/htmlspecialchars

is enough for this filtering.

Re: Invoicenumber(s) not correct according to EU law

a hardcoded invoice number format is useless. what we must do is gather as many possible number formats as possible and create a template from it. it will have to be either a format string a la "%Y-%i" (%Y=year, %i = invoice no, etc) or a prefix, suffix and a template similar to when we choose date ...

Re: OpenCart v1.4.0

i dont see anything wrong with google code. what i am trying to say is, you are not using google code to it's fullest, so what's the point taking the whole project somewhere else again and start from scratch? what's the point of taking it to another repository where it won't be used either? ultimate...

if I used mantis I can allow other members sign up as bug fixers. It really helps when a bug is reported that soem one also posts a fix. i don't get it. you can assign people to your issues in the current tracker. you can attach patches as well, even without being a project member. sure, the google...

Re: OpenCart Template Mockups

well, yes you might. or just close it invalid as you do sometimes without a reason. ( http://code.google.com/p/opencart/issues/detail?id=101 ) there is no point for me to send patches based on 1.3.4 when your tree is already somewhere else. the default template does not bother me really, i have alre...

Re: How to remove Special Offer Menu

the easiest way would be probably to remove the link
from your template.

edit the file
catalog/view/theme/<name of your template>/template/common/header.tpl

Re: Adding a disclaimer and a "accept" or "reject" button

i have finished the first (rough) version of the
disclaimer feature. the disclaimer text can be set
from admin and the button and title are customized
through language files.

you can see it in action on crazytoys.cz

actually, i think that this development model
will be the reason there will be forks all
over the place just like alegrocart.com
(but judging by the .zip only release, it's
no improvement in this regard)

technically, my local version is already
a fork as well..

Re: OpenCart Template Mockups

Re: OpenCart Template Mockups

i think the templates are somewhat unflexible, and now i understand why. there is minimal css, lots of verbose html and pixel perfect sizes -- a bit like the pre-css times, and i personally am not happy with it. changing anything consistently in a template takes a lot of time and typing. i am rework...

Re: How to change order_id for Invoice number

OC09FR1227A wow, that seems a bit overengineered. -why separate the year from the other parts of the date? -also, what will you do if you get more than 26 orders a day? mixing numbers and letters this way will make working with this invoice "number" rather difficult. how about: OC-FR-2009122701 now...
