Dear members of the Opencart community, I am looking for some guidance on how to clean up my websites that were hacked a few months ago. My websites include two Opencart 1.5.6 sites and a few WordPress blogs/landing pages. All of the these websites' php files are injected at the top of the files wit...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

Hello Heather, We tried to upgrade our website from 1.5.6 to the latest but we then realized our theme doesn't have a compatible version yet. Thus, our website looks broken and the theme developer is not going to roll out a new version any time soon. (They said the upgrade requires them to re-build ...

Website attacked with many wp- folders

My Opencart 1.5.6 website has recently been attacked and there are many "wp-" folders showing in the root of the FTP. See screenshot attached. I've been manually removing newly added spam folders every day. Upgrading the site is not possible right now. I wonder if there is any way to stop this folde...

Re: Help! Websites Suddenly Show Internal Server Error on IE

Hi Brettmv,

My developer narrowed it down to a SEO plugin but we are not 100% sure. We contacted the plugin developer so need to hear his response first.

But a question in my mind is that since we have not updated any plugin recently, why the problem suddenly appear?

Re: 111035 error message in UPS shipping module

Thanks Mike. I think this is a default message for sites that don't even use the UPS delux plug-in. I doubt the code is in the paid plug in though. Any idea where the code should be then?

111035 error message in UPS shipping module

Dear all members, Would love your help here! I've used the UPS deluxe add-on and chosen to use individual packages for shipping calculation. However, as UPS doesn't pick up a single package that's more than 150lbs, when a customer orders a heavier product, the shipping estimate will give an error me...

Re: Product URL path different in cart

Following your last comments, I noticed that my website www.lightboxes.com's canonical tags are not right. Every product page's canonical tag is pointing to the current URL path, instead of pointing to the one single "preferred" page, which should be lightboxes.com/product-name. I know this is not r...
