It was the time zone issue. Is there a patch for this longstanding bug? Curious why it is still ongoing when there have been so many updates since this bug was discovered.

Display only products having designated location within a specific distance of customer zip code
I would like to add a location (address/zip code) to each product so when a customer enters their zip code only the products within a specific distance will be displayed. This could possibly be integrated with store locations or store pick up, etc. Using Version 2.3.0.2
