php MyAdmin error.png I upgraded my Opencart installation to the current version from an earlier 2.0.x version. I got the Opencart install success message, but then immediately got an error message when trying to continue log in. After not being able to figure out how to fix the issues, I deleted a...

Error message after upgrade

I just upgraded from an earlier OC 2.0 version to the 2.3.0.2. To do the upgrade, I used FileZilla (MAC version). Before uploading, I deleted the file config-dist.php from the "upload" folder, the removed the same named file from the "admin" folder inside "upload". Then I uploaded all the remaining ...

Add a button in Journal theme

I am using OC 2.0.3.1 along with the theme Journal 2, plus a module called "Opencart Custom Product Designer". After I installed the Journal theme, the custom product developer installed his module for me. To do that, he had to add code in two Journal files, one of which is the Journal "product.tpl"...

Re: Customer Info

I am sorry I did not see your answer until just now. That was the problem. I had "autofill" for usernames and passwords turned on. It had to be turned off to solve the problem.

Thanks - Ted

Re: Admin user name replaces customer email...

I am sorry I did not see this post until now. I found the problem was that my browser (Safari) was set to "autofill" with user names and passwords. That was the cause. Thanks for your reply.

Re: Can I increase the 1000 by 1000 pixel limitation of Imag

Ryan: For the record, and in case someone else reads this to try to solve a similar issue, it looks like your idea of file corruption being involved is in some way related to my uploading problem. My files are not corrupted in the sense that they all open and function fine in my graphic applications...

Re: Can I increase the 1000 by 1000 pixel limitation of Imag

I did have those Image Manager problems in 1.5.6.3, so I have upgraded to 1.5.6.4. Less issues there now. I have given the images a hour, so I don't think it is a matter of waiting for them to display. Maybe there is a timeout happening that does not display… I actually just methodically created var...

Re: Can I increase the 1000 by 1000 pixel limitation of Imag

rph: Thanks. I did some further testing and see that you are correct. However, some of the files that I upload with large dimensions have a question mark where you would expect to see the image thumbnail in the Image Manager. Is Image Manager having a problem creating the preview image, and is there...

Re: Upgrades - it must be easier than this, yes?

I see a couple of typos in the post I just made. I went to http://mysite.com/install after the upload. Of course, I used the actual name of my site, not the word "my site". Thanks

Customer Info

In Sales/Customers/Customers, when I click on "edit" to the far right for a particular customer, the edit window opens. The customer's email address shows for a split second, but is then replaced by my open cart admin user name. Is there a way I can fix this so that this does not happen? I am using ...

Admin user name replaces customer email...

I am using open cart 1.5.6.1. The only modification to open cart so far is the addition of the opentshirts extension. I am just setting up my site. When I go to Sales/Customers/Customers, and then click on "edit" for a particular customer, the edit page opens, but a split second later the customer's...
